SFAA At Miami Comic Con -

The South Florida Airsoft Association, Inc. has been personally invited to set up a small table at the Wizard World Miami Comic Con at the Miami Airport Convention Center! February 26-27 We will be looking for a few volunteers to come in FULL COMBAT GEAR! We will be looking for 5 people. If interested contact info@sf-aa.org

It is not IN the airport. I have to go to a wedding on the 26th and Technon Tactical on the 27th. Wish I could skip the wedding. Here's the link to google maps.

The convention is at the Convention Center not the airport. And if a player were to show up with his rifle out of a case, that would be just plain irresponsible.

I am emailing the rules and requirements to those that contact us. And no Taliban gear will be allowed. US Forces only. This is to help represent the South Florida Airsoft Association and the idea of safety and responsibility. Not too mention honor, integrity and respect.

It will definitely be a great time and just another chance to shed a positive light on airsoft.

Dan shoot me an email @ info@sf-aa.org and I can send you some info. We have three more open slots for saturday. The closer to mil-sim the better. We have some ideas to make a bit more interesting as well.

Wow... looks like only USA clones!... And a total disregard to serious role play aspects...Might as well send in Tommy gunner who was next to the Nazi...And Mention that they couldn't come but they re are also Bad guy airsofters who also do their part seriously!

I hope we are not turning the sport into something cookie cutter out here!

Sanddragon, I understand that there are two sides to every role. And yes, the Board of Directors wants a US only outfit. SFAA represents a positive, and responsible side to airsoft and when people see American forces they think good things. Its all about presentation.

I am not saying that you do not show that, but a Taliban member or even a Nazi can be misleading. This is for the general public. If you take offense to how we are operating, I am sorry that you feel that way, but this is how we are going to run things.

Now with that said, I am not stoping you from showing up at the SFAA field in full character in the future, because like you said, you cant have one side without the other.

I am only Rebeling against a rule that discounts the other creative variety of the sport.

See I am an Artist by trade and I am used to the competitive markets in all my arts and rules like these are actually bottle necks to creative rebels like me!

I'm like that guy who is the Biker rebel, I understand they want to go AMERICAN and Patriotic but Maybe something creative, Like that WW2 Role play of that US GI guy,or something of a role-play in the game.

People are still too stupid to understand that there are more complicated games and fun scenarios where 2 teams may dress as good guy and bad, maybe get a taste of Historic scenario!


This Exhibit if aimed at GEARDO Airsofters and is all Dumbed down to hook and bait new airsofters at the convention....I represent the stronger stuff!....Its all TABOO!

Just felt like saying my point of view, maybe there will be pictures of those types of outfits.

I agree it will not be appropriate for an airsoft introduction.

I always tend to think the general public are sheepish!...Watch out for the big bad wolf!
