which one is better built internally?

Go for the src, its better all around and the motor it comes with is great.

Not just because I own JGs and wanna say the opposite, I DEFINITELY recommend the JG since it's enhanced version. The gearbox you saw in parts (that i sold you) has basically everything you would see in that gun. It would come with metal bushings, metal spring guide, and sturdy tappet plate and good seals all around.

Go for the JG, it's definitely worth the extra 15 bucks. Mine has never failed me even through 80k rounds with a 9.6v, 10.8v, and even the occasional lipo usage.

Plus, the JG Torque (power) motor is one of the best stock motors in existence really. It will almost NEVER fail you and has the power to pull up to an M160 (I tried it) still giving you a decent ROF. With an M120, you can get about 16-18 rps. Thats good for a stock torque motor. They are so good, even evike sells them separately from guns.

tbh ive never heard of src, what i would do is read up on it a lot (reviews, videos, etc) and make a choice on my own. if it was my choice, it wouldn't matter because down the road I would be upgrading the gun to my liking...

my friend has a jg m4, i hate how loud the gearbox is, and the high stock fps wears and tears faster >.>

the thing i dont really like about the enhanced version is BALL BEARINGS! nooooo!

i prefer full metal bushings

the src gearbox sounds beautiful. it's made in taiwan. i'll look at the insides when i get it and adjust it accordingly.

that's a far in the future gun though.

right now when i sell the aks, i'm using the money to fix my first airsoft gun!

The SRC high torque motor is a little better than the jg, ive had both motors.The enhanced thing doesn't really mean anything other than them putting a harder spring in the gun and the ball bearings.And the src has better externals and way better wiring.

haha sounds sweet. the next gun i get will be that. (probably during the later part of the year) when i usually get hired at the same gamestop again and again lol.


for now, once i sell the AK i'm going to fix my first aeg, a g36k that i never wanted to get rid of.
