Dojo :
is a Japanese term which literally means "place of the way.....Training of the Arts

Well Please Come Here and Enter with an Empty cup.

I would Like to Conduct some pretty Interesting games but in order to Orchestrate them, they must first be broken down into perfected events so that the game will not wander or begin to look like a sticky situation.

This is Mainly for the Referrees of All Airsoft Facilities who would Love to become the Game Master and thus conduct great games every time.

This subject is open to additional ideas to make those games that couldn't happen become possible!

Dojo rule#1

All the Players attending are unorganized and in general will do things that may make the game wander off its path... your job is to keep things on course.

Mainly there will be the confusion of the numbers of players that arrive at an airsoft field and it build to such that team Identification is a must.....Maintain ID order by using Team Identifying Tape or the such so that Team kills cannot become a major factor because it is n00bish and lazy as well as sloppy to do any game if the rabble cannot remember it all or who is on there team!

Dojo Rule#2

The Numbers of attending players are Staggering!....Plan the games in advance based on the situation and mood!

(HINT)Game simulations on paper:

Personally I love to play Chess and I would often make my own version of a chess board thinking of Airsoft in mind.....Well I would draw the bunkers in the field on paper and use pennys to represent players, 50 people attending, then I put 25 people on each side or more if deemed so, then I try to run a simulation based on the field conditions....I would envision the distance, the killing areas and even some critical details.

one critical detail was in an Omaha beach game I would realease only 10 players at a time and then delay for 30 seconds, then deploy 10 more to attack the German base...this would represent Landing craft or Paratrooper drops....I took the detail of ensuring that this drop zone was positioned so far away that the Enemy would not know where the Enemy was going to attack from.

This is one example but like they often do in Football or other major sports, this game could also be reviewed as a stratagy.

Rule #3

The Game Master and his Clan must bring all the tools.

All Referees should have a good Whistle, Uniform, and other gear that will help others Identfy their Authority.... They must have the power to communicate via walky talkies, and other team efforts to thus start or stop a game or anounce and indication of a games status!

Rule#4

Exercise Long games as well as short ones!

It is nice to maybe hold a series of games that may be interconnected....maybe even denying a reload so to make the game sort of frantic... be creative and create extended time situations....A referee may suddenly announce that the 30 minute game is extended because he feels that, Lets say we rolled a dice that said the rescue Heli got shot down!

Rule#5

Fearlessly Test new games!

Be a General for once and position players tactically for game start, then set them loose on each other!
Watch and observe the Firefight and the outcome!...Then Reverse the sides and do it again!.....new players may become so trained on it that certain games become a favorite and maybe an oldie Classic!

Rule #6

Study and learn all the games!

This goes for all the Players too as well as Referees and potential game masters!
Read up and print out every game scenario till you know it by heart!....It is also extremely important that every attending player knows how to play every game before it is played...Take the time and extra effort to conduct a game initiation,
Tell a game Story explaining the game before every game as well as including the safty speach and bang out rule!

Rule#7

Train the players while you Train!

Try to ensure the games are getting smooth so that means all sorts of things a Drill sergant may do!... Not being funny though!...LOL!
Try to get a Rabble of players to line up and follow your lead!... This may also fall in the hands of teams and players who wish to organize into an elite fighting force....Train fast reloads, turnarounds and the such!
Run Drills and get players involved in the drills...You call cease fire- Blind man...Make the players repeat the call so all could hear it!
-And Cease fire as well as Resume game!
make sure all players know to never take there eye protection off in the fighting area- EVER!

Rule#8

Game Rules and sticky situations:

All games have interesting game rules, which shouldn't ever be broken !
-Unless the Referee deems a situation!
Parleys
there will be certain situations where players may argue!... Imediatelly run to those and defuse the situation before it esculates!
Sometimes a Whole game must be suspended- (Example Blind man walking drill)
Run a drill in these games and do it frequentlly.

Rule#9

Most of the players are Savages and left to their own devices they will.....

Probablly run the most sloppy Crappy undisiplined game sessions ever!, It is better to take charge and establish undeniable order inititives....YOU ARE THE GAME MASTER!... ACT LIKE ONE!

Rule#10

Art of War!

I was not Paid to volunteer my services and advise but it will help to add your collective wisedom to the art of the game.
