Monday October 18th 2010- Trail works efforts

Well today we had a small crew indeed , Sourmonkey met up but could not come because we were all leaving at 3pm given Devins schedule.

so It was Devin, SandDragon, and DEVIL at the trails today.

we hacked and pushed the roller 500 feet west of the Marilns bunker and I think they actually made it to a south west clearing... It will be the trail that looks like it leads to no where!

I rolled the drum back to the bases and proceded to do some real damage in all those general areas- you will see!

Several camping positions have been mowed down and crushed. trails are now wide enough to be called roads. in many areas around the Marlins base the area is clear a full 50ft more and less thick bush and brush.

areas around the staging areas have been slightly enhanced- all tarps were restretched and are more fully deployed.

several trees were also felled by Devin and Devil and other obsticals were hacked.

Garbage was collected including ancient trash found at the entrance... ?

Everything went well for a 3 man crew but I was really hoping for more people to step up so we can run a 12 man crew.

Also our efforts could have been better coordinated by a navigator armed with a GPS device so that we can map our positions or direct a specific course.

I couldn't make it past 3 but I was there from like 12 to 3. I did a lot of back trail exploring and showed someone new who heard about the field from sanddragon around who came to scout the field.

I also picked up a lot of empty bottles by where we parked our cars. We need to take our trash with us because I picked enough bottles to fill up my cooler.

Anyway, if any of you guys want to go out Wednesday I can be there all day.

It was great.We cleared alot of stuff and really did a number on the place.As sanddragon said the marlins base has bin enlarged.And like 3 or 4 small trails have bin made in it.at the far back.We hacked a lot of obstacles like dead trees and stuff.me and devil took out a half dead tree with a machetes that was blocking a small trail.And we enhanced the camp area.And we r enlarging it to make a tent spot right next to sitting area to put our gear and guns.Then me and devil went looking for birds.lol A frog took 1 of our catch and gulped it up.Actually 2 catches.lmao. we were there for like 3 hours.

p.s. don't hit and dead palms.Me and devil were almost attacked by a sworm of wasp that poped out of one...I ran like a little bitch.lmfao

lmao the shit with the frogs was funny as hell. i told you to not hit the palm branches cuz there is prob a wasp nest in there and u did it anyway lol
