Calling Hits and weapon hits!

In the game players will often call a hit even if it is accidental.

a hit to the weapon is usually not counted as a hit but other players start to think the other player is not a calling their hits... so I propose we call it a weapon hit, or player calls out weapon hit.

The weapon is disabled from use for say 10 seconds...so the player must flee or use another weapon, pistol.

if hit again at this time reguardless of how many bbs clang on your weapon the hit will now count!

This will lession the confusion of players not calling there hits and besides, other teams are also doing this too!

Mostly weapon hits are a European Rule where the weapon is considered destroyed and the player must switch over to his sidearm or backup. The disabled for 10 second rule doesn't work because you are trying to lessen the accusations of cheating with something that will only create more. "Hey dude I saw that rifle hit and im almost 99% sure you didn't stop fireing for the whole 10 seconds."

The more complexities in the rules the more misinterpretation there's going to be the more disagreements and the more bullshit. Keep it simple, especially with the large volume of players we have.

I personally think this rule would be cool(without the 10-second thing. Just not being able to use the gun.)

However, noob fags, and cheaters wouldn't go through with it, and Jakeson is right. Unless only honest players participated, we can't use the rule.

On topic I personally believe in no gun hits besides if your hitting someones gun its only a slight aim adjust to actually hit the person.

the confusion is when a hit is heard from a player hitting and clanging the weapon and the guy thinks the hit is not being called...Call weapon hit to clarify weapon clangs... I'm calling my hits and I thought this system would end confusion.

i always call "gun hit" if my gun was hit. but i never really did anything other than announce it. its just a personal thing though.

if my gun gets hit, my gun gets hit, thats about it. i only call out hits to the direct body/arms/legs/hands/head etc.


gun hits dont count!

Some or most players don't call hits unless it hurts so the gun hit rule will not work at all.
