| Today's turn up was quite small with about 5 people and not enough to even host a game so we immediatelly concentrated on building yet another bunker. This one is roughly about the same size and is positioned at bent tree. Construction of the base included clearing a battle space area and some sniper positions. several trails were opened up wide and the bent tree area is now worthy of being called a mini fort because it is now possible for snipers to hit targets much further with the thick upper brush removed. Bunkers can now fire on bunkers! Our fellow sniper helped the crew by telling us where to clear area s around the sniper points... we will not be telling the secret locations of all the sniper towers ! The New base is still in need of some adjustments and custom work but I feel that players now have a structure to use for a neat senerio... The base could have been even better if we had not actually ran out of building materials. ROME WAS NOT BUILT IN A DAY. | |

| I was hoping to build reed sawgrass woven vietcong buildings over bamboo framing... Turns out that the weaving assignment is very doable but was too boring for the kid I assigned to do!
I guess I will have to do all the boring bits myself in order to produse sawgrass reed matts for the sides of structures we would like to simulate as cambodian structures!

I wasn't too happy about the last base bunker build because it kind of went up as materials arrived and we were regretting using a bunch of small pieces after a big piece was dragged in... the fort is still flimsy- we may have to redo the fort for strength.
