(The bang rule)

I learned today that the bang!! Rule does not exists anymore meaning it's ok to shoot someone at point blank. I wasn't aware of this rule till today during a game. But I do know now

I was not aware either?

The bang rule stands and it is for the saftey of everyone. Some guns are shooting over 400 and close to 500 fps.

Shooting someone from close range sauch as a foot or two could lead to bad injuries and I am sure will go through a goggle and penetrate the eye.

How many people on here think they can play without their eyes???

THE BANG OUT RULE WILL ALWAYS BE IN PLACE AND NO ONE WILL CHANGE THAT!! IF YOU CAN"T PLAY BY THE RULS WE DON"T WANT YOU ON THE FIELD.

THIS APPLIES TO ALL!!

accidental shooting within the bang rule range happens and it is expected.
If you are courteously banged out, there is no need to open fire upon the person who was nice enough not to shoot at close range.

where were you when this happened!?

Bang rules are in force whenever little kid softers are present...It can be sometimes disreguarded if it is an all adults only game.

please talk to all members in a game before setting out to play it, the must me an overall agreement about ditching that rule, you may sit it out if you disagree , all players must accept the terms of this contact sport.

bang rules are only good if you startled the person first...Consider players armed with Lipo upgrades...

This can't be disregarded for the adults players and must be enoforced, we all have families and responsibilities to take care of, without vision it will be a disaster to anyone.

It is not worth the risk losing an eye over a game or anything if you ask me.

Agreed... Keep applying pressure to all members to keep this rule enforced and maintained!

I do have issues about certain game senerios that do allow no bang outs but only if maximum armor and eye protection is used- The Zombie senerio!... of course all pistols must be weak for that game!

Sand dragon I was told by a player today that shot me from about 2 feet away after i had banged him out and I haven't been out there for a while but thanks for lettin me know it is still enforced that means I have some unfinished business to take care of

i remember making a topic on this a while back where EVERYONE bitched on how it was their "right of passage into manhood" as an excuse for poor trigger control.

just made a post about this on the debrief i didnt see this posted my bad but yea further more i lit a match on that guys ass with my m4 and he took it kept shotting at me so i shot his head (only thing i could aim at because of trees ) takes it, bitchs and then keeps playing ? WTF ? two sec later i get shot in the arm by a dog member i say good shot and leave fair and square why cant people play right !?

It would be dishonorable to some to get shot.

I like the ones that shot and never miss then get shot and start crying and walk out bitching and moaning all the way to the rest area thats funny ps i wonder who those could be
