Just finished my new RC steamboat CSS VIRGINA.
Sad to have to let it go because it will be for one of my friends who helped me build it!
the ship is powered by a powerful model army tank engine and gearbox, transmission is delivered via moped type chain and it is steered by 3 rudders.. I hope to post a launch video soon...I need to install the electronic reciever and throttle control,speakers for the sound effects and smoke generators on the smoke stacks... The paint is still wet!
I will probablly build myself another one so me and Mario can steamboat race at baptist hospital lake or navigate the Hammocks.
This ship is filled with insulation foam and well ballasted and glassed.
this was not a kit... she is G- scale!
