Sunday Dec 5th 2010 Ho Chi Minh Trails

I got a good night sleep after the Rage event yesterday- in fact I left much later than usual because I was attending the Forum- I missed nothing much and arrived around 11:30 am along with most of H.R.O.- I think I'm turnig into one of those guys!- Maybe I will Defect!- LOL!

gamers played chaotic Death matches... I was quite surprised to see a totally finished and fully enclosed Bunker, complete with a satellite dish!

Good work Engineers! now we must work a bit more on the trimming of the field because it is still too thick.

We tried a Hostage Rescue but the game took so long the defender who held me captive actually gave up and walked out!- FAIL!

Other games were mostly attack and Defend and I spent some time in the new and improved bunker and putting my RPK to good use!

I only had an Issue with a guy dressed in Resident Evil CQB gear who I spotted and greeted as an Allie and 3 seconds later he stopped 6 feet from me and pulled his gun out and shot me point blank in the head!
I argued - called him Retarded and said that a bang out and you team killed too!- The dude apologized and did the craziest thing... He turned his own gun on his head helmet and lite his head up!

Now that was not necessary! and even silly.turns out that guy just dived into the game and he was an enemy but I thought we were only fighting team H.R.O.- The Issue was quickly settled in the staging area and wardog and Gizmo also backed me up on the issue of bang out rules.- This guy is new.

I left early and proceeded to take out the trash-War dog jumped in to help me take it out- thanks!

We all left in one big group to tropical chicken restaurant with Team H.R.O.
It was a nice and pleasant gathering and maybe the biggest tailgate like party I have seen with these guys.- I am turning 36 tomorrow!

Weather was great. And we got some pretty decent games going. A bit of a cluster fuck with the campers sleeping in the back of the field a half hour after cold field was called. We played 3-5 games (1 being capture the hostage.) Overall, a fairly good day. And I'd like to wish a happy birthday to the aging Sand Dragon.

good turnout got many kills this sunday happy about that . but we take took long to load up and start playing . too much chit chat thats y we have the forum . but in all a good day for woods ball . next sun to the building.

In all not a bad day got there at 11but realy did not start plaaying until around just after 12. Too many people just sitting buy there cars. 5 of us just went ahead and plYes acouple of games before eveyone else decided to come in. We all spent too much time sitting arround talking than playing we need to speed things up so we can play more games. As for the rescue game we waited for ever with our prisoner sand dragon even stood at the other base yelling for help and waiving his flag but no one tried to rescue him so we got tired of just waiting and walked off the field.
