Watch tower design

This is a watch tower loosely based on something found on the beach, with an easy access ramp.

The design requires some heavy duty lumber for all the structural elements so I will need more experience engineers to help with this one.

If built right we can position this one north of bent tree bunker by the staging area...it will give an awesome view of the battle field .

Cost of construction may be within 100 dollars and can be prebuilt in a garage and assembled after hauled to the site.

Given the nature of the structure it will be more seriously built and staked down too! The bottom of the tower will not be used and will be a sealed off element for safety as well as no room due to all the supports inside it to hold maybe 2 or 3 guys!

A good thing to do is set the 2x4s about 3 feet into the ground.....cement would be the ultimate way to get it sturdy in there, but I dont know if that would be good for the land itself....A sloped ramp is a hell of a smart idea, steps are just dangerous....youve seen the ones at Rage...no thank you.

and maybe if this is made i can put sandbags on/around it

another form of tower is an Earth build...The heavy use of shovels are required to mound up a good observation point with a pill box on top!

i say we build something like that. This was from the korengal valley in pakistan, op Restrepo which was shown in the documentary restrepo

Dont waste the space,cut a door in underneath and use it as a dry storage area.Can store your bags coolers or even toolboxes or ammo under there.

You could always just make tree stands with a ladder lol.

We are trying to flatten alot of trees but what I notice is that the chopped down trees are just there. We should reuse it to make foxholes and trenches and such.
