Tuesday Dec 21st 2010 RINKER

Well I was very sorry I locked down that roll call post as I thought it had expired because it was posted for Monday...and I was doubtful that a game was even going to take place at the field during a heated chat on the forum and way past my bed time I was convinced to go to what I thought was a non posted roll call event.

Next time roll call is extended, please edit the date on the title so I can do my job as moderator as well as possibly attend...Hell!, send me an invite PM!

Went to PB matrix to pick up DEVIN...Eagle was whining to go but I was not even sure if this was really gonna happen , may be checking out an empty field anyways.

Upon arrival 11:30 am up in 137th ave and 8th street was a lot full of parked car and assholes wielding airsoft guns from the road... these guys play dangerous in public!

Pulled up and got all the players to get their gear inside and not expose themselves.

Team H.R.O. was in force along with a few other airsofters with a few more new people we never met before drop in thinking we were paintballers joining us ... the new people seemed to always have technical problems, jams and glitches... maybe even afraid of playing us!

some good filming also of the action on video...This being my first time at RINKER , it really is not bad and maybe a leg up over HO CHI MINH TRAIL!

The field area is shaded in a forest of pine trees, and the area is littered with remnants of paint balls as well as other garbage , but also decked out with well placed speed ball bunkers to fight behind. further west of the area are more pristine forest environments and the place is quite big...ATV can be heard here and occasionally a biker is seen off roading, This area is easily accessible from PB matrix and great for new airsofters and us Miami and Kendal residents .

.. I definitely will also be attending this area to get my airsoft fix!

You guys noticed I posted the Google map directions to the Rinker field on the Monday roll call, only because this place is well known by our cousin paintballers as well as the airsoft community. I did not think the Monday game was going to happen either since only a handfull of people answered the roll call with "maybe" and "if I get a ride" but I decided to go ahead and check it out anyways for the first time as Sandragon did. I was off of work on Monday anyways so I gave it a shot. With my paintball/speedball background I really like the bunker set up. They are great for quick games of small teams. I will try to make it to one of the weekday games there as soon as I can. Please, keep posting the weekday roll call. Maybe we can have a set day when everyone shows up so we can go to war when we cannot make it on the weekends. Field looks good.
