The beach in Naples was HELL for me ! I had to work through that shit all day...Failing weather will continue for a further 3 more days, The spectacular Christmas sandcastle is literally being torn apart by the fierce 40 MPH wind!
Work and working today was a stalemate of continuous repairs as I battle sandcastling in the storm and cold...we are under siege!
Nothing fancy will be built!, just bricking in walls and patching cracks and holes... A huge wave breached sandcastle sea wall located at the closest part where the ocean could reach it!
Sea foam is so thick it floats over the beach and me and my crew were the only ones stationed as entertainment at the beach...my boss took a photo of one huge wave almost crashing through that sandcastle!
though not airsoft I thought you would find this battle quite interesting!
Photos will be posted as soon as I can get them - I was not able to film being the working artist.... NEVER TURN YOUR BACK ON THE SEA!

Great work man. Real nice stuff indeed. Its nice to see that people still have actual artistic talent these days....of course you are of an older breed, but the fact that you continue to do it and progress is whats best. Now you just gotta get yourself a bad ass camera and work on some killer photos of your stuff.

A Marrage sandcastle for a zen theme... The wind was blowing up a sand storm but fortunatelly died down at night with a full moon rising...This was almost 9 hours of non stop work...I'm so Tired I hope I have the energy to play airsoft on Saturday!

I was Just rapping up another SandCastle Operation on this windy day and Boy those towers and Arches are risky!
Anyways I always wanted to Fire My version of a Salute to a team that always seems to attack in a well organized group, and the fact that they are my best of menacing friends!
Its High season for me so while I work ,I still think about the games, bunkers and the structure of organized teams!
This ones for you!

I Just Got Back from Thanks giving 2011 sandcastle building in Naples but I still had to keep building...I had to hop over to Aventura and later South Beach and I am still on call Duty Decking the halls until Christmas!
If you are on the beach , you may accidentlly find me in which case I will deny everything associated with airsoft and will have to kill you! -OH WAIT!...I have a Dungeon built and death will not be swift!
The weather was great all week with a cold front moving in later...I got a lot of sun as well as blessed shade... no vandals showed up so I never had to pull out the RPK!
Later on at AVENTURA MIAMI
While I was working on the beach I was off line and not fully aware of the bunker building currentlly going on at PB Matrix field though I occationally got a disruptive phone call about it...I was not in the works but your orders are- BUILD , BABY, BUILD!... It will also soon be my Birthday as of December 6th I will turn 37!... what a great present you all built!... or was it so you could all ambush me now that I am getting old!... LOL!
I later got online and saw some fantastic bunker construction and a new airsoft tower....Even if I am missing I expect every player and vollunteer to carry on as a leader.
I wore this helmet on the job and was kicking it Island style!

Great job Vic, those sand castles sure look nice. We are still carrying the role you play even though we can not do it as good as you. But you are going to be amazed at what has been going on!

Subject: Hitman Run ... Miami, San Juan and back to Miami! Sat Jan 14, 2012 10:04 pm
Well I just got back from a hitman Sandcastle Building run...Ya, Hitman style!....Its when you do a job, jump on a plane and fly to the next job, but then fly off to finish others!
On this run I went to Nikki Beach on Southbeach and built the first in a series of Epic sandcastles for a company called AIMIA which required an all day effort until night fall and then me and my crew jumped in the van and scrambled for the Ft Lauderdal airport to catch a scheduled flight to Pureto Rico.
Upon arrival at Purto Rico we all went straight to our Hotel at the Ritz Carlton Casino in San Juan for ZZZzzzzzz!
We Woke up and I was allowed to sleep a bit more while my team shoveled then got kicked out of bed and worked all day on the beach building something the locals never seen before. All went well until the end of the day when I accidently stepped on a small beached Jellyfish! My right foot feels like it got stung by bees but the Hotel attendance quickly rushed me some Viniger to shut down the venom...now It feels ittchy! After lighting the Sandsculpture and getting a well cooked meal we turned in for the night.
The Next day was our only free day to roam around the island so we all voted to check out El Morro castle fortess and maybe old town San Juan.
The weather here is just perfect and still nice and warm...even the water is nice and tropical! We took a nice tour of the Castle and ate at Cafe Berlin in the old town which has an Spanish European Carribean flavor in its Architecture and culture...the streets here are really really narrow and stone bricked.
We had to rush back before 4pm and gather our stuff, then catch the plane homeward bound.
Meanwhile at Miamibeach our sandcastle was being taken down at Nikki Beach! A Dandy sand truck delivered 10 more tons of sand for a grand super sand castle for yet another venue party hosting about 800 people! We arrived and returned to our company HQ and went to the client location to do yet another build. After about 10 grueling hours of technical work digging, carving and calculating I was ready to collapse myself! The Sandcastle itself actually incorporates some of the Castle features I studied from my Castle exploration in San Juan!
We celebrated by going to Lincoln Rd Mall and getting some hot coffee...I was too tired to go to the Art Deco weekend exibit but I will try to go maybe on Sunday or Monday.

I Had a Blast in the Keys this Weekend...So far only one Airsofter Dropped in for a weekend visit to My SandCastle!
I pretty much worked all day in the hot sun with a few cool soaking dips in the sea....Posters of the Iconic Sandcastles were plastered over the Local newspapers, on shop windows as well as online in the city website Chambers of Commerce.... I was totally rocking the Roman Emperor Empire look with that Crown at the Sandcastle....The Sandcastle features many "Ancient Ruins"....Like it was some where in Italy or Greece.
Believe it or not it was actually harder to build the Damaged Ruined temples more than it was to build perfectlly errect structures... the Leaning Tower topped it off but stood perfect....I just had to choose the most Challenging and complicated designs!
So Funny that I was served a Greek salad or Caeser Salad for both days for lunch and Dinner!
Next stop, Naples for the Easter Sandcastle builds!
