| Hey,
I bought a KWA SR10 recently and it's only shooting around 330FPS with the hop-up turned all the way down.
I bought this gun used and supposably it has a m140 spring in it... although I can't confirm this because I've never opened the gearbox.
I think it might be a compression problem? Air nozzle?
Anyways, looking to pay someone locally to help me get this thing running 100% again at a decent FPS.
Send me a PM.
Thanks!

| What battery are you using? Have you checked all your wireing? Have you tried repositioning the hopup? | |

| there prob isnt an m140 in it. or it would have to have like no compression at all, an m140 is a strong spring. do you reset the piston after your done using the gun? | |

| How do you know that it is shooting 330 fps? Did you chrono it with an actual chrono? If so, what were variations in fps? If they were all over the place then you most likely have a compression problem. However if the fps is pretty consistent then it probably doesn't have an M140 spring the person who sold it to you said it had.
What it was chronoed, are you sure the bbs were .20g? Heavier bbs lower the fps.
The electric components of the gun do not determine the velocity of the bb so that rules out the wiring, motor, battery, etc. It is either the spring, cylinder set, piston, or piston head.
A good local airsmith is Nightbreed. He is a member on the forum or hit me up with PM and I will give you a way to contact him.

Yup, after each and every game. I'm starting to think the m140 isn't true either. :-/ | |

| I dropped the gun off today at Sikes crib.
Looks like it might be a compression problem.
Thanks for the help guys!
I'll update this post once ive got the official diagnosis, this should be helpful for anyone else that might run into this problem.

| Took it to get fixed and it turns out spring and gears are screwed up.
4 broken teeth on main gear and I've only used the gun once!
I'm looking to buy a KWA gear set.
Hit me up, I pay cash/paypal and can meet up with you to pick it up.
Lets do this!
