| Apparently Tunisia and Egypt are both having riots at a national scale trying to depose the current regime. In Egypt, the regime is supported by the U.S. and the violence has escalated to the point where the police have abandoned their posts and the security now rests on the Egyptian military. It also seems than Yemen is having similar riots, and the governments in these places could be deposed. The possible complications from this are that an anti-West regime could take control. In Egypt it could be groups such as the PLO (Palestinian Liberation Army) or Hamas, and in Yemen it could be the Arabian Peninsula version of Al Qaeda. If a terror based government takes control in Egypt, it could pose a threat to Israel, a major U.S. ally.
Any thoughts or opinions?

| Its not a Anti American group taking over, its a people army tired of the current government. The problem is that America supported many dictator and corrupt governments during the Cold War just because they weren't communists. Now we are still allied with all these dictators and corrupt governments, but the people of those countries can tell that we are in no position to deploy a real amount of military force to support any of these undesireable allies. If the people of a country no longer support their own government then it is not our place to support a corrupt system that does not favor the prosperity of the people.
The Government of Egypt is about to start learning that the People should not fear the government the government should fear the people.
