Shield use

Might be good to use it in street only type battle games!

This is an ongoing debate. Some are for it, others are against. There should at least be a sort of rule in regards to the realistic use of them and perhaps use them in that way.

We saw a guy at the big game at Hot Shots and he took an old body board cut a rectangle out to see through and covered that part with plexiglass or something. Creative for sure, but yeah without rules it could be somewhat of a disadvantage to others.

But....thats when you introduce BB grenades....cant block all of those, especially if its tossed behind said shield holder.

it's from an old project, i would probably paint over the fake blood if i where to use it

there are alot of rules with the riot shields......for example if youre holding your shield you cant use a weapon cause its blind firing.

lol and some people try using the whole seethrough modern warfare 2 crap, at least this one looks like the real one (that can really take a bullet)

for realistic CQB yes go for it for field not so much

well the riot shield holder should be only allowed a pistol, and there should be a limitation on the size of the shield, shorter than ones body so they have to crouch and work for their full body protection

Other Shields:

There is this "perfect" Shield.....It is a huge ass Acrylic Fish bowl Architectural Dome skylight so you are shielded from all fucking sides....Problem is that you will also not be able to shoot and it may only be used for vehicle warfare if applied on some sort or vehicle wagon device.

A shield can also be applied as frontal armor for vehicles and a small deflector on certain machine gun mounts and gun positions.

yeah, i figured a pistol would be the only option. as for the size it can't cover my entire body just my torso unless i crouch

lmfao you can carry whatever you want but you just cant put the gun on the side or on top of the shield and shoot at the same time youre behind it......thats blind firing

well i've got the visor so it depends, i wouldn't be able to carry my aeg with one hand anyway though lmao, need to hit the gym.

its blind firing, even if it has the window.....while youre pointing your pistol over the top or on the side, you dont know where that bb is gonna go. it can go where you want, it might not. exactly the same as if you were doing it behind a wall

oh, i thought you literally meant blind firing as if i couldn't see anything at all.

i mean.......if it has a window i dont see a problem in shooting, again, only a pistol or small smg allowed, most of the people that play i doubt can even carry an smg in one arm for more than like 3 minutes. lol
