new player

whats up everyone? Im new to the forums but not airsoft. i have played at SFAR but not with anyone from here, with friends we found it one day looking for a place to play. so if anyone would be kind and help me out on the 1st day i show up? to meet ppl? lol

Hey Devil welcome!

Everyone on here is pretty nice at times. People can exaggerate and hurt other people feelings but dont let it get to you...(wtf am I saying)
Anyways if you need a team just ask one of the team captains when you go to SFAR on Sat or Sun.

2 years ago I started playing airsoft. Now, I have some of the greatest friends I have met. None from this forum though, I havent played at the field due to the play at your own risk idea.....That the good thing about this hobby. Yes its a hobby. (No one gets paid to play so its just that) You can meet people real easily. Hell one of the players I met is going to be a part of my wedding party. And my entire team came to my daughters first birthday as well as a large portion of the community came to the birth of my daughter.

There are some great people within this community who are willing to extend their hands to say hello and help you out. however, there will be others that are just well, ignorant, and self centered and do not care much about outsiders....but hey it happens. You stay away from those people and talk to the good people.

Welcome to the community and thanks for singing the petition. Hopefully we will all have a safe sanctioned field where we wont have to worry about a thing except rain.

yea you can run into ppl like that no matter what you go into, but im sure ill be able to pick out the good crowd or just walk up to ppl and introduce myself and see how they react. im sure i wouldnt have any problems with that as i can already tell that you all that replied so far are respectful and open to new friends, players and are the ones i would want to go to on the 1st day. thank you all for making me feel better about the 1st time when i go, ill have more encouragement lol
