April 30, 2011 FOXHOLE

Today was a pretty good day, with a decent turnout, around 20 or so people. Not many games were put into the day because of the rain, but the few games we did put it were good. Pilot Down scenario was essentially a massive firefight if it were not for the rain picking up and ending the games for the time being. A large group (maybe 10 of us) left, returned and played one more match before everyone had to leave. from there, everyone went to the surplus store and messed around till who knows when.

Decent day, if it werent for the rain it could have been better.

Mean while in Naples!...

The sand Castle was being built on the beach ...It was mostly a hot sunny day until much later when a fast moving storm bombed the shit out of it and a waterspout even touched down nearby!

Lightning struck the water and there was winds of over 40+ MPH with hard sideways rain!

A massive vortex of cloud and water was also rotating above the venue.

Me and my Crew were shielding the sand-sculpture from some of the rain and wind but still 3 towers and some arches came crashing down!

Fortunately the wind and rain passed and the whole sculpture was hastily repaired in the nick of time!



Ever seen a funnel cloud hover over your head!?





I couldn't make it back in time for airsoft but now you all know I was in a Battle waring against Mother Nature and the Hand of God!
