Playing all day long or Cutting out Early:

Some of us are real Die hard airsofters , In my experience I often noted players who got roasted in the sun, brought insufficient food or drinks,or none at all, having to leave and cut out early to the nearest refreshment point.

These players often sponge off other players who have brought food and drink and there are a lot of them!....soon after exhaustion sets in and of course they never really took to the shaded areas, Some of these tire players cut out and of course start rallying others to also go with them.

Now for the players who were not tired or quite thirsty and came prepared and fully armed, It actually bothers me when the tired players start rallying everyone else to join them for a run to BK... maybe taking half the crew out of fox hole!

People get inspired to play or eat depending on how you all trigger there personal mood.

I came here to play and I always hear this complaint by other players when a whole team cuts out and we are left with severely reduced numbers.

Maybe it is a great socially cool way to end the day but it also stabs into the others who stay longer and want to play harder....maybe you had your share of airsoft but now you are burning out the others!

You may not like my opinion but If your ship is sinking, don't take everyone down with you!

STOP WASTING THE WEEKENDS WITH SHORT HALF DAY GAME SESSIONS!

If you start this trend where we always follow the fat boy and his tired crew, you are only wasting a perfectly good day and giving others the wrong message.

Stand and join us as Die hards!....Bring more food and drink, gear and ammo!

Use that rest spot we built between games....avoid short cuts to BK which waste time and money!

Assemble a cooler uniform for the hot dog days of summer!

Speaking of the Hot Sun The though occurred to me, Why don't we all play from mid day to sun set? or at a time when the sun is not bearing on us so strong?....Maybe if we had players gaming at all the other times, they will see that it does make sense to game early and also play late!

I really would like to see a field that always had long on going games with high attendance, players coming and going and maybe returning for more!

Wear light summer clothing, Marpat T- shirts and light pants, boots and reduce any gear that can cause you to get too hot and sweaty.

I often wore a Vietcong sun hat and cool breathable clothing and carried my trusty AK and one clip or Drum mag was all I needed.

If you are willing to drop the money, get your hands on a A.C.S. (Army Combat Shirt) They are the same shirts that they issues to the boys overseas. Lightweight clothing is a good idea. You can also keep ice packets in your pockets to help keep you cool. Maybe find a lighter rig to use as well.

But the only thing that can really help you. HYDRATION HYDRATION HYDRATION! That will keep you cool calm and collect.

And Sanddragon you gotta realize not everyone is not conditioned to this heat and perhaps they do not want to risk heat stroke. This weather can be brutal and I am more than sure than not all the players there are educated enough on what to do or how to spot the signs. This is not a shot at anyone, its just something I have seen on all fields I go to.

Summertime and airsoft in Florida is hit or miss. Its either too damn hot and humid to play or you just play for a bit to get it out of your system. I play 4 hours in the morning from 8-12 on saturdays. Once it gets past that time, its too damn hot to play and I have a family that I would like to spend time with as well. Something else you should take into consideration as well - lives outside of airsoft.

Your point is valid but I have issues with some very unprepared out of shape players who actually rally everyone else to leave prematurely for a run to BK.

Too many players depending on SandDragon's Water supply which I actually doubled and now gonna have to triple in frozen bottles of ice.

We actually have too many players sitting in the hot sunny parking lot and are dysfunctional in using the shaded area.

Turnarounds are long and may get longer given the chaos of players in the parking lot either chatting, or slowly sitting in the sun and wearing a heavy uniform.

I am sure it is possible to physically and mentally be ready to get everyone to become more disciplined and ready to play longer and harder.

Nobody here plays to the danger point but I do believe we can get more game out of the day...possibly an hour or more.

first off, thats disrespectful, i dont go around calling you a skinny dress up doll and neither does anyone else.
dont be a hypocrite either and then yell at eagle when he does the same, cause you do it too.

second off, im not jesus christ, i dont have a cult of followers, and im not pointing a live gun to anyones head telling them to join me.

third off, we dont leave early because of the heat or supplies. its because we have shit to do, and places to be.
what do you reccomend we wear for the heat? tactical g-strings under some asian pajamas?

Alright, this is getting out of hand, look, Sandragon, not everyone wants to stay to airsoft from 10:30AM till 7PM like you do. Its cool that you want to stay for a very long period of time, but people have things to do man. Like me for example, i usually have to go to work so i HAVE to leave at around 2:30 so i can get some food before i work for 5-6 hours. Its not only the heat that drives people away. You have to understand that. some people have family stuff to do, some have work, some have plans.

We have friends who airsoft with us, which isint that the point of airsoft? Make friends and have fun and make the sport enjoyable? Well, thats what we do. Even when we leave. I am not accusing you of anything!

I was using certain experiences as an example of how unstructured players actually are in the games, How unprepared they come and when some players start rallying to leave and urge others to also go join them for lunch.

Not all wrong but it does stab into the other gamers trying to get more game action.

Once players leave, a sort of domino effect may follow where and It may be a cool ending for your nice day but not for others wanting to stay and play!

If you must leave for work, THEN DO SO!

Play if you can and Leave when you want!...I never accused you or anyone of Rallying away the other airsofters, but we are only as good as the weakest link!

By even responding to this post in the manner that you did you actually painted a target on yourself....This is not about you or your friends but a general review.

I came here to play airsoft and get the most out of my day, even staying later to mod the airsoft field, roll bases or clean up shit!

Sorry If you think I offended you...Your Fat or Skinny ass was never mentioned and that is not the topic!

I have my own vision of seeing a field hosting long term on going airsoft games where people come and go as they please and no Domino effect!
