USMC Force Recon Kit (WIP) Thoughts?

Here's a few pics of my [very] WIP Force Recon kit. I'm shooting for an '09-2010 time frame.
I apologize for the Tru-Spec flightsuit, my Nomex one is in the laundry



^Don't criticize me too much for my hippie hair lol.
I'm going to be picking up some Krylon tomorrow for the helmet.
Like I said though, the kit is still very WIP, so don't hit me too hard.
So, thoughts?

you can get the helm cover in various patterns. They are cheap as well.

Oh not really. lol, the FSBE II cover runs for about $165 on eBay. I try to make my kits as realistic as possible, so that would be my only real option.

It should, but I already bought the MARCIRAS for another kit I was doing. So I'm not buying another one.
But the MARCIRAS is used in limited numbers by Force Recon.

I actually like the Block I setup better. If I want to mount a grenade launcher, I can do so without using the dumb looking RAS M203. I'm not a fan of free float rails much either, (if I wanted a freefloating barrel, I wouldn't have sold my LaRue racegun. ). Also this gun is "backwards compatible" with my USMC grunt kit. As well, I prefer LaRue rails to Daniel Defense rails.

Dont they use sopmod m4's? Nice none the less!

the mk18 ris is twopeice so you can mount a barrel m203 but then again its personal prefernce

Yeah. It's mostly personal preference. I just don't want to part with the KAC 7" RAS just yet.

what suspension is the helmet on

Basic MICH suspension. I think It's made by Skydex. They're quite common on on eBay. I would like to get an Ops Core one, but at $66, that's a hefty price to pay for just a strap.
