Fox Hole Saturday June 4th 2011

I took off Early and arrived at the Fox Hole as planned but it seems everyone else is running on Cuban time!

This is actually getting more crappy and I hate to post a topic about it as it may inspire others to just give up going to the Fox hole.

At times like today attendance was crap! even though we made the most out of 10 players who showed up- Including our Haitian guests who I armed and drafted into my War!

I believe its the response of poor roll calls.

the players actually began arriving later and the first game actually started at around 12pm!

We got about 4 good games going at the speed ball area, with some players trying to get more usage of half field but not understanding that there are not enough people to successfully deploy those kind of games!

Basically it was all of team SWORD against the n00bs!....I didn't care much for it because it is funny seeing the Haitian kids trying to out bunker experienced players and they were cowering, camping or too far in the rear, and almost never supported their team!

Getting games turn around is just plain impossible, I was ready to fight again on each turn out but the Fox hole crew mostly stood out in the sun , chatting and taking a pathetically long time, so much so that I took the time out to re carve the end of one of my Flag poles with a whittling knife!

After game 4 it dawned on me and team Sword that that was the end of the day as I could see that no one was motivated to play so we all went to a sandwich shop and shop at Army surplus on US#1

In all a below average day that we all tried our best to make the most of.
Hopefully next time we will have more Motivated players attend the roll call.
