Mosquito season in High gear!

Fox Hole June 25th 2011

Just wanna give ya a heads up on the Field at Fox hole but it may also be taking place in all the areas that are receiving heavy amounts of rain water.

Today at the Fox hole:...everyone attending today's game was irritated by them!

The Mosquitoes are out and in full force making jungle games Hell and punishing campers.

GizZoo got more marks than any one I have ever seen lite up!

The bugs were every where and trying to bite through people's thick jeans.

The insects also seem to be attracted to anything covered in sweat- some players wearing hoody's and coat jackets in the tropical heat actually generate more sweat and odors that attract the bugs!

I Later went to Home Depot and stocked up on bug spray!

Some Bug spray was apparently ineffective against repelling Mosquitoes or was either improperly sprayed or wiped off by sweating.

If you happen to shave, this shit stings! also can dry out your lips and leaves a nasty aftertaste, but if done right and you didn't miss the back of your head or other details , you will not hear a bug buzzing in your ears or be bitten!

Reapply Insect spray!

The Swarm is out there and will strike if you sweat or wipe it off!


Where are the coming from?
Tire bases with rain water in them and Bunkers found through out Fox hole may be contributing to the Mosquito problem but it may also be due to the lack of wind and heat creating perfect conditions favorable to these pesky insects.- Any area that is collecting rain water is a Mosquito breeding ground!
It is also possible that high winds may have previously blown the bugs into this area the previous day.
Low or no wind makes it easy for the bugs to find and follow us and form a sizable swarm!

Chemical Reaction Warning!:

I was told by one fellow airsofter that one must be careful not to spray any deet bug spray on any airsoft guns or gear as it may damage or destroy plastic parts on your airsoft gun replicas.

Make special arrangements to prepare for gaming in this area and be ready to deal with the swarm.

Get the Spray out if you go to Fox Hole, Those bugs don't play!... they mean to eat ya!
