| Before you give money to any organization you should research it yourself. There are so many holes in the plan to even get this park open its crazy. | |

| First of all its against the rules to gather donations for a non for profit organization when their status is pending without stating the non for profit is in pending status. This was created so people could not just say they are a non for profit after putting in the paperwork to apply and acting like they already had that tax status. Considering they have already run flyers for their fundraisers claiming to be a non for profit while still under the application status this is a large point.
Secondly if the tax man finds this out they will have their non for profit tax status denied or revoked. If they lose their non for profit status they will not be able to operate in the park system. If they loose the ability to put their donation twords opening the field there is no policy to return all the money collected.
If they do collect the thirty thousand (by the way right now at the rate they have collected donations it would take 20 years to open) needed just to build a fence, stageing area and insurance for the first year it will still just be a fenced in portion of a park with benches. Even if you do donate and it opens you will still pay just as much as someone who did not donate to play at the park.
The largest factor to the lack of funds for this project probably is the fact that the field will be in a area that is over a 90 minute drive. Most aren't interested in a field that far away and the player base closest to where the park would be located already has hotshots and that gives the ones who would benifit most the least reason to donate. Other players are simply to far away to get any real benifit from a field opening in North Palm Beach County.
Lastly the fact that SFAA has contacted many organizations claiming to be the official voice of South Florida Airsoft has hurt other projects that may have decided to go forward if thought they would aquire the sponsership discounts that would have allowed a proper profit margin for a investment. Considering the location of the field SFAA is more of just Palm Beach County airsoft and really just takes away from South Florida Airsoft as a whole while providing nothing to the player base they claim supports their organization.
Under these circumstances one could assume that the odds of the field being open withen the next year is slim
