Neeed HELP!

Guys me and some of my buddies want to get a gun for a friend and he likes the mp5. We were looking at some guns, but our budget isnt that much considering that we too need to get a gun for our self. This is what we found. The fps aren't high but i was wondering if a systema, spring, and spacer would do the trick? The gun is a boneyard gun so we can not return if anything. I need some advice and some one with knowledge to tell me if upgrades are available for the gun. here is the link:

you get what you pay for.

cyma is a good brand for clones. but for $45 u cant expect much.

this gun only comes with a 4.8 v battery.(weakk)

only shooting 200-250 fps, with a m120 spring u might get 300 fps. not sure.

i would pass on that gun.but thats just me.

well like i said we are shooting for a 200 dollar gun cause we got to buy our own. We are helping him out and for starter gun, is it that bad? Also this gun is upgradable right? Can i get a 9.6 V 1600 mah? With the battery and the spring, will it be better?

yeah you can upgrade most guns. im preety sure u can throw a 9.6 on there. and a spring

just remember that u cant expect that gun to be awesome for $45.

i used to have a cheap crossman from dicks sporting goods that was like that mk5 and i returned it the day after i bought it.

so make sure this gun is what u really want because you can NOT return it.

ok thanks, i know it isnt the best and i am not toooooo excited about it but i cant complain about the price. I def want to add a spring and battery so he isnt too far off. And when ever he can he will buy his own gun the way he wants it lol. but as a gift and for his first gun i dont think is a bad thing but thanks bud i really needed to know about the upgrades

Thats a LPEG (low powered electric gun). You cannot upgrade it really. The reason its on closeout is because they shoot like 40 feet usually. If there was a cqb field in the area you could actually use this aeg, but in field the range is too short.

Its pretty simple, if you don't have the budget for decent stuff save up till you do. If you buy a $45 dollar gun your going to want to sell it for $20. If you buy garbage you won't be able to compete on the field and just get frustrated. Better than that LPEG garbage get a $50 spring trishot shotgun, they have a rang of about 100-130 feet and with a $15 dollar shell pack gets you 6 six extra shells.

Stop buying garbage and stop telling people you can upgrade garbage.

so you saying he can NOT throw in a new spring in there and better battery?

even if the gun is garbage which i tried telling him. like i said im preety sure you CAN throw a spring in there. wether or not the gun blows up doesnt mean you cant do it.

dont waste time and money when you dont need to. go on airsoft gi and buy a new, working, jg mp5. its just under $100 after you put in a coupon code "50ktv", and then if he needs which im sure he will, buy a extra mag or two and some bb's and he will be set for a while. you can get basic eye protection at walmart (cheapest place).

one of the best mp5's ive ever owned, (after about buying all except a tokyo marui, was the echo 1 task force black series mp5.

evike is even selling them alot cheaper than before. and even have a full player package for 240 when originally the gun itself cost 235

You can throw a higher fps spring in there and more than likely the plasic gearbox will crack withen a 100 shots. You can also throw a 9.6 in there and probably grind the gears as well.
