ive owned a dboys scar....never let me down, only problem i ever had was with the stock spring losing power over a couple of months. otherwise its survived falls, and its performed perfectly, accepted every mag ive put in it. to this day i regret selling my dboys scar, cause now i cant buy another one.....and ive tried.

as for jg, ive owned several. and those fuckin guns could survive a nuclear explosion. and they both take upgrades really well.

honestly for the price you pay for a pos kwa or something good like a G&G or ICS rifle, you could get a clone agm, jg, dboys, put about 100 bucks of upgrades in em and theyd outperform the living shit out of them.....AND youd save about 100 bucks going with a clone

i got a G&G GR16 with EBB. i literally have never opened up the gearbox, hell even the reciever. after a game i take the mags and battery out stick it in my gun case and put it in my closet. been doin that every 2-3 weeks for bout a year. STILL works fine never have ever had a problem. the body is a little worn but i suspect inside is golden.

my dad got a JG m16, after the third game internals blew. the gears stripped with a 8.4v battery! he keeps rebuilding that dam gearbox every time we finish a day of airsofting. trying to get him to ditch it.

lol ok ill agree that the jg m16s suck huge ass. but otherwise their guns could survive working at santas lmfao.

those G&G guns run at a really low fps. i wouldnt doubt that the gun is still in good condition

well i run CQB only i dont need hit a target much farther than 40-50 feet. if i were to go do field i would probably buy a high velocity gearbox and swap them out. theres no point in me upgrading the shit out of my gun if i dont do outdoors a lot. remember im not in miami im over here in cali. we basically are only CQB. just around me i can tell you where 4-5 indoor areans are and 1 outdoor. so it may make sense to you guys to get your weapons up to high FPS numbers but even then just from what i do i would just get a gun that out of the box can shoot far and hard enough to be effecient. upgrading a gearbox is expensive and complicated. idk maybe im lazy lol

i have a g&g g4, ive had it for a lttile over a year, that gun has survived every thing from falls to lipos

@ jester i agree lol of the like 17 different aegs ive owned( from jg to g&p,classc army etc.) i regret trading my echo1 g36k (clone ) lol best gun i ever had. complety stock and i had it for 2 years without any problems.

i actually hated my g&p . didnt like the way it felt

i was thinkin about getting the Echo1 XCR, but ive heard the externals arent great. like i went aisofting last month a guy had it said the gearbox was good then he let me handle his, it was cool really nice kinda light but his reciever was worn and cracked and his buttstock was falling off. idk i might my friend has the mp5 master series thats a sick ass gun comes with two gearboxes!

ik this is thread is old but i just had to say it. the Dboys Scar and Echo-1 Scar are exactly the same. they're made in the same factory, same internal parts and all---except the echo 1 scar has a little box that says "Echo 1" on it..

He traded it for a magpul acr. But then he wants to trade it know for a gas powered rifle. Mans never happy with a gun lol
