WOW that's so fake! There is no way they can be converted! The ABS would pretty much become a plastic shrapnel grenade once ONE round is tried to be shot through it! Thank god it wasnt that the US stopped ALL airsoft guns rather than just 30 from one store... Some people are so ignorant and overprotective. I blame 9/11/01 for all of this. I bet if 9/11 never happened, the US would be a little more leanient with such things.

this is bullshit but i see where the atf agent has some concern. if u look closely in the video the guns that are being taking away are we gas blowbacks and from my person use and handling those rifles they are the closes but i mean closes to a real AR15 bolts are alike lower receiver is identical. so i see where the atf agent is saying those things. but its the shippers fault that didn't put any orange flash hiders on the rifles, that automatically sends a red flag. sux but that's better to check then having illegal guns coming into america if u ask me.

To let you guys know this is a old issue.

The reason the king arms GBBR is in such high supply is because it is ATF approved so it slides through customs.

This is also the reason KWA's GBBR M4 and AK are still not on the market in the US yet, they are making sure they will get through customs before bringing them into the USA.

In all reality they are just trying to keep the CNC machiened lower recievers out of the country. Many companies are using M4s one to one dimensions and that makes it so the lower could be converted on some GBBRs.

the only thing that i have to say is true and this might bother people is that gas blow back guns are a bit too realistic. paint the tip and they pass for pretty good copies which might make law inforcement uncomfortable.

yeah and I agree too, but AEGs can look just as realistic. GBBR and AEGs are not too far apart on looks. Batteries are well hidden on some guns.

also, it IS true that it was wrong to be shipped with black tips. From a distance, airsoft guns with the orange tips removed and real guns look almost identical. Although it was dumb once they got a close look that they could think that it could become a real firearm with "minimal work".

Yea that is why i got mad, not because the sender sent it with black flashhiders and not orange. It was wrong of them for doing this, but again what can you say it is cheaper. Unless you are holding the weapon or stand withing 5-10 ft you can mistake it for a real gun. But for an actual agent to say that these guns possess a threat and that ATF somehow can convert these airsoft guns into actual ballistic ones is a joke.
