It seems like I have to reboot this Forum to all the new players who attend it.
This Forum shines best by hosting roll calls and thus communicating with other players too shy to give there teliphone number to otherwise a perfect stranger... and of course I would know because I know the folly of those who would later be caught in a crank call...
Please lets not go to that point and just rely on being dependable by hosting some serious roll calls.
Player proposing to attend should gather as many online who may be interested... further more all die hard airsofters should log in often just to check the roll calls for any recent roll call airsoft partys or special events.
The ultimate goal is to in fact gather as many airsofters to attend an event.... it seems that many users have lost interest in or forgotten the most important aspect of this forum.
Roll calls must be looked at and updated like you would if you turned on the weather channel to see if there was going to be a Hurricane!
This will only work if I can reactivate all the active airsofters to seriously participate and act as a digital online working team prior to attending on the field.
Of course those that also use Face book or twitter should take the extra effort to post here as well... lets try not to overly out source the forum and leave anyone behind!
Lets try to link up so that all roads lead to ROME!
Roll calls are best posted at least a week or two in advance and not best held less than 24 hours from the game... the objectve is to cause an enormous airsoft turnout for those better games.
Do not resort to just dropping in without any communications... what if the event was canceled!
Thus so, do frequent this forum just for the roll calls....do a double post...one if interested and if many show...post again a confirmation.
I guess I take this much more seriously like a Captain would when posting a log in the ships log book, my Nautical hobbys do in fact relate to debriefs... do post every event in detail and with backing credibility.
A good debrief will be a lot like loading a cannon properly, just try not to blow yourself up!
As for Debriefs.
It is only proper to post details of any events such as the date, weather, turnout numbers, game scenarios......of course it can also get hot topic like if it also stated a complaint about other players.....It will be really up to you to try to post a proper debrief.
Its perfectlly OK to say the bloopers of the day and how many times you may or may not have been slain!
but it may not be ok to burn bridges by posting counter productive topics about sensitive issues....Example, that team does not call their hits!
ya that shit pisses me and everyone else off, quietlly refer that in PMs among your own members, lets try not to draw out a troll war,....take the battle up on game day to settle the score.
Please try to resolve any conflicts and issues or break off if there is the hint of the smell of bullshit!
When in Rome, do as the ROMANS do!
Of course post any battle pictures taken on a debrief....the picture section which is separate should also come with a small debrief in its own section displaying many pictures.
Try to keep this Forum fun by posting it and attending, see ya on game day!
Log on for those all imortant roll call updates....lets try to make this the Forums priority to set up some EPIC GAMES!
