| I am thinking of holding up a sort of Carnival type contest at the PB Matrix field.
Prizes will odviously be kick ass Airsoft weapons and gear to thus motivate player to attend and converge for these game days.
The contests I had in mind goes like this....
Players will pay a sum and then will be allowed to hit up targets set up or given a set amount of time to shoot it and score.
whether the item is to be knocked down or its a treasure hunt scenario...the prize will be real but it has to be fun and worthy.
I also thought up a Carnival type set up, where players pay and shoot, possiblly knocking down the prize!
I could use some ideas....This set up could be held once or twice a week if the turnouts are productive....now players may need to draw a raffle lot to win the right to be the first one to draw and shoot!...winner gets the prize which could be anything!
Prizes?.....Need Ideas for starters.....I would like to set up a contest and see if It will draw in even more airsofters and this time you will need to use your skill as well as luck!

| you could do gas pistols, yes - but most people attending Matrix and especially Foxhole already have guns, and most likely would probably not want another as much as they would want AMMO! Players are and will always be in a constant frenzy to find the cheapest, high quality BB's. So as far as prizes go, I think you should start out small, with big quantitys of BB's for the best shooter, then build your way up in prizes from that. For example, the first few weeks of these challenges you could hand out large sums of BBs, then move on to maybe batteries, gun accessories, maybe even discounted/free admission for a set time to Matrix! (with the owner's permission of course) That prize would especially draw in players to participate, because if they already have all they need, they would still be having to pay for admission for a day long of fun! These are all just ideas, obviously, you can use them and put them in whatever order you choose to hand them out, or not use them at all. That being said, good luck on your quest to finding prizes! | |

| Not bad ideas!
Any one got any Ideas about any shoot em up carnival games...I had one Idea of some thing like the equivelant of a sandcastle..."sand pillar tower " and inside it, I molded a prize target which must be exposed by getting shot out.
Knock down prize....Its high on a ledge in a sniper tower... hit it to score!
Random targets -hit and knock down all in a set time....some are penaty cans!...player is blind folded at first and only removed at game start so as to not already know what and where to shoot!
Classic Carnival devices? -something like a colorful pinball machine.
Sniper distance shoot up target.
Pistols Only
AEG timed scramble
The Grenade toss!
knife throwing and axe throwing
Senarios?.....It might be possible but how to do a contest with the honor system in question?
any ideas? | |

any ideas? For a scenario...obstacle course.. Two opposing players must race down the field, armed only with a GBB pistol, and knock down all targets on their way to the finish line! Whoever has the fastest time/most targets hit, wins the prize! We can also bring in some Airsoft vets, see who can complete the course with a crappy WalMart SPRINGER! Another viable game choice would be the farthest sniper shot! Participants must shoot the bullseye from across the field and whoever has the closest grouping/closest to bulls eye, wins the prize!

any ideas? A fun scenario would be to have 10 people with only 3 rouds in a pistol and rubber bayonts. Last guy standing wins a bag of 2500 bbbs? And no im not refering to cod style lol

Not a bad idea, maybe we should begin handing out patches/stickers and advertise much more. There's a lot of potential for this forum, we need as many people in here as possible

And no im not refering to cod style lol good idea!....Pistols only game but it will still have to cost about 2 dollars per person with up to 10 players in a free for all...sorry but no teams...It still requires a strong usage of the Honor system.... Lets try though to keep it fun and try it without the heavy usage of honor sytems... and go straight up target shots and hits that are undeniable hits! This will have to do given that there is a prize involved...and I want everyone happy and satisfied with the game results.

| Another good prize would be BB's, because everyoneknow the only thing better than getting a new gun, or piece of gear, or any other miscellaneous equipment is having more BB's. Whether they be .2's, .25's, or .28's. | |

Yes i know, but it would get so awkward when two people have a 1v1 knife fight, like who's supposed to knife first? lol, unless some form of mild hand-to-hand combat is allowed, which i highly doubt...
