well I don't really like electric blowback.. lol
but i'm gonna do some research and I would advise you to do the same! why? because some gun companies like AGM and Javelin have proprietary parts, (means you can't buy aftermarket parts) for the internals. look and see if the gearbox is a tokyo marui standard version 2 clone.

javelin has an anti reversal latch that only fits in Javelins, my agm L96 was proprietary because there were only like 1 or 2 aftermarket internal parts. i think a spring and MAYBE a spring guide?

agm SNIPER rifles are proprietary. The aegs are not. since when did they have proprietary anti reversal latches? seriously where is that info coming from?

Proprietary parts Unfortunately, there's many proprietary parts in there as : nozzle, cylinder head, tappet plate, selector plate, hop-up, the mechbox shell itself and the latch. For example, if you want to change the cylinder head for a metal one, you'll need to also change the nozzle (non-compatible with aftermarket cylinder head) and the hop-up (made to fit the special nozzle). However, they appears to be well made. It will be easier to change the complete mechbox to an aftermarket if something break ( I haven't tried if other brands of mechbox will fit in the metal body.)

Second thing to mention, is the fact that I do not consider APS a good brand. If it is the same one that is reviewed all around the net, then I would stay clear of it, and avoid it like the plague. The APS M4 I know has a proprietary gearbox (so if you break any part you have to get a full box) and a lot of other proprietary parts that are not after-market compatible or durable.

The only thing on the javelin that is different from any other v.2 is the tappet plate everything else is the same.

i have looked around and found both good and bad reviews but i have seen that if the gearbox breaks they sell them for cheap.
