| The Effective use of the airsoft Forum:
Besides the burnouts , Trolls and wannabe commedians, as well as endless off topic threads....., I must say that The Forum taught me some things.
Partaking in the Forum , even If I was probablly the only inspired one, drove me to research and write up gratifying articals that i hope helped as well as entertained enthusists.... It also made me work harder to achieve goals.
I learned from my gaining experience to personally maintain my online credibility by mostly posting the most correct information.
You may have noticed that in many of my topics,- They tend to be very long and informative- I love to write , and at least I know I am not posting off topic crap!
Unfortunatelly many other airsofters who log on seem to not take this credibility issue seriously and tend to joke.
I can understand that most members here are young at heart and have nothing to say...maybe its just as wild as the constant spamming online and in other places... I don't think that issue will ever be helped or resolved as long as there is immatureity.
Some players on the Forum were in fact real scum bags and liars and cheats... hopefully we will never see the ones that got Banned!
I know some of you out there, just can't help themselves from pulling my chain!....I just so happen to be the serious one who thinks and value what others think....The unfortunate lack of respect is due to those who just do not care to maintain social credibility online - they are wearing scars unknowing how damaged they are!
The Loss of Credible members on the forum due to the thoughtless trolling has made it very very difficult ...players that are in fact still here need to seriously value our forum guys as they are unexpendable!....New members logging on will be looking for hot action topics... the typical boring chat will not do at all!...Welcome new members and do not drive anyone away or make them feel unwelcomed!
The Forum helped me brainstorm games and build up battlefield disscussions as well as team load outs and gear.- Of course I have never bought stuff off the forum nor sold anything...it was nice that it was all available.
The Roll call effectivelly helped me stay in tune with airsoft play action as well as follow up on any recent events.
Before I was on the Airsoft scene, I guess I was really just a timid quiet guy....I am in fact the kind of guy who does in fact spend many hours unsocially alone working literaly on ships in bottles and other reclusive arts.
Airsoft brought me out!
....Later on due to the demands of the sport I would find myself driving long distances away from home....Ya ,It Manned me up!......I actually did not start driving 5 years ago because I got around everywhere with a bicycle!
Airsoft brought some thing good and aggressive out in me , It revealed that I was a leader.....maybe not a born leader but it brought out hidden abilitys.
The Honorable upkeep of credibility was personally valued...I do not know if any of you others on the Forum treated that to such a level.
It was nice to even rise up in the ranks, even get added as a Moderator,...a trust which is earned Honorablly... all members who play and even log on shold be striving for such standards.
This is how I see the Forum and what good it does....If it can inspire me to lead, write, research and attend...then maybe it was not a waste of time to log on after all!
I had fond memories back in the days when I was a boy scout....this is how I live up to my Honor and do my best!

I had fond memories back in the days when I was a boy scout....this is how I live up to my Honor and do my best! this forum really made me work hard on everything airsoft, because i really wanted something to be proud of and to share with others. my loadout, my videos, everything. this forum even had me revisit my graphic design past, a past which almost landed me in the most prestigious art school in the country.
i get what you mean by having credibility, but immaturity, believe it or not, is a socially acceptable. being uptight all the time actually is viewed negatively. truth is no one is 100% mature, immaturity is the side of us all that is fun and stupid. having a bit of fun should not socially degrade anyone.
it is annoying when people dont take you seriously, but cmon, its a forum full of guys. you should see the trash talk that engulfs NLNs private facebook page. you have never seen so much trashtalk, and we dont take any of it seriously, because we know its in all good fun! yes i agree there are times where being serious and mature do apply, but there are times that just hanging out is good too. so if someone is messing with you im more than sure its just for fun.

Maybe I am dying! Failing to call that last hit!~~~~Sigh! Cough! the point of the story like post was I got compelled to tell it like a sort of over all experience debriefing.....Think of it like a Writer telling it in a certain themed style... do it well and it will hold an audieance!\ People with short attention spans will not read it all if it doesn't hold there interests.... How will you explain or tell a debrief of long term experience gains? Sometimes you cannot leave out interesting details to tell a story in full HD resolution... I especially hate stories told that did not first explain rules , and basic orientation before deploying the parts that should be great but there must be a detailing of why these parts are great. This is my perspective of What the Forum has done and served....I also find it socially relaxing to come home and log on and maybe see what my friends and Enemys are up to right before the next game day outings.
