what gun should i get?

so my birthday is around the corner and imma be getting some extra cash so i decided to go ahead and buy myself a better gun so any suggestions i want something thats cqb legal but still affective out in a field

happy birthday pandemonium and I'm really in no mood to build a gun lol and i need a cqb friendly gun the dmr can wait :p

hmm CQB, depends do you want a CQB legal or a CQB specific?

KWA KM4-Ris. the reach of a field gun while still being legal in cab fields. Throw in a 6.01 or 6.03 (up to you) and you will be set. Just know that your fps may go up a tad bit so compensate for that with a spring swap or leaving the spring compressed for a bit.

Only sr10 and longer. as for the KM4-ris, it usually chronos between 375-395 fps. I have a stock sr-5 at 365 fps.

I have an echo 1 mp5 task force I'm looking to sell that you might like.

Excellent gun for CQB and a place like matrix for example.

the umarex hk ump, it has a quick change spring system, takes about 30 seconds. 150$

or the g&g f2000, has adjustable spring tension, or FPS in other words. 350$

SRC m4 is like 340 fps, nice internals, great hop up. 140$

and the G&G combat machines. 140+

or the GI G4's 180+

i think imma go for a kwa sr7 devgru seems good to me and chronos in at around 350 so i think thats my choice but i might keep looking

whats the FPS limit at the field?

yea, it's 380.

for me, i have two seperate guns, my G4 and SCAR.

My G4 is flawless, I have no complaints and it works amazingly at Matrix. this is my go-to field gun I usually run.

on the other hand, I'm looking to turn my dboys MK16 into a high speed gun, for cqb.

For anything CQB, but still field ready, I would choose really anything with a folding stock (i.e, G36C, SCAR series, M4 RDW, etc), if i were you I wouldn't go for a M4, waaay to many people run them, including me, and for cqb they aren't the most versatile weapons (they're longer then some other guns, turning corners can be a pain).

Last, try going for a gun with ambidextrous controls. I know in cqb you have to switch hands often, and M4's usually favor the right handed shooter. Hope this helps

hahaha yea dude i have a friend in georgia and the field he goes to has a 400 limit

Pandi, yeah, the cqb field that is supposed to open up will have a 380 fps limit. with a +5 fps forgiveness. They did it cus they didnt want no lil kid getting spooked about being shot when someone pops around the corner and the kid (thanks to fear and lack of trigger control) pulls the trigger on full auto spraying the person that shot them from head to toe.

yeah 380 is kind of a weird number for cqb i always thought it was supposed to be 350 and under but w/e rules are rules lol

Miami Airsoft's limit is 380.

yea but 20 FPS +/- really doesnt make that big of a difference, thats something we found out at CQB City, cause we were 350 then we tried 400 and it made no difference except BBs went farther. watch in a few months they may push it up to 400, cause 380 is a hard number to hit. they better go up to 400 my rifles at 395 hahahahha

I suggested that they do like CQB City and leave it at semi at 400 fps. But I gues that was "taken under advicement."
