Im sorry.. I'm no expert, but I think using a real ak might be against field rules.... Lol ok trust me your gearbox won't be able to take the beating. I've seen someone do it to their Chinese clone ak-47 (which is what your ak is), and it got about 300rounds through it before the piston was stripped and cracked, it broke teeth off his gears, broke his motor... Basically his gearbox shit on itself and it was distroyed..

| the gun has metal gears and piston.right now shoots at 500fps so i think the gears can take it | |

| you think, but i think you should trust the guys who it has happened to personally so when you do use your money you wont end up either a) regretting it or b) regretting not listening to us.
500 fps is pushing the limit for those gears, now imagine putting that fps at a high speed.......youre gonna destroy your gun.

| You should downgrade your spring, you honestly have absolutely no need for that much fps. You really don't. I run lipos. I own two, a small average powered one and one that pumps out juice like nobodys business and it's still only 7.4v. Trust me, downgrade to 400fps and get a 9.6v nimh battery.. | |

| By the way I think I know what I'm saying, I do custom work. I built my gun from the floor up. (which jester has seen by the way, and if I remember right, it blew his mind and a wet spot in his pants.. | |

16g bbs?!?! wtf are they made of?!?! i mean jesus... lol ive never heard of .16g bbs... i think you mean .12g.... and for the gun shooting 500fps stock, thats probably with .12g bbs. standard chronos are done with .2g bbs.

| Listen i fix airsoft guns and i know everything about gearboxes and let me tell you if you have a lipo battery in your gun with STEEL gears and STEEL teeth piston and a very high quality pinion gear your fine for about 10 - 15000 rounds.if you have the knowledge of your gearbox and have the money to keep up maintance with your garbox then go ahead. btw you can also by a G & P highspeed m120 motor for $46 and it will make your gun shoot faster with an 9.6v or even 8.4v the n most guns on a lipo battery, i have one and my gun and absolutley love it | |
