| When is the last time anybody went to a shooting range? I just went tonight in Pembroke Pines. If you want to get an ak-47. It cost 700 bucks. Just telling you that if you are thinking of getting an 800 dollar airsoft rifle, you could get a real ak-47 for the same price. | |

| there are used semi-auto AK-47's everywhere for as low as 400$ some romanian etc.
i have only two firearms, a .22 bolt action, made by savage inc, it eats up any kind of .22 you can throw in it.
the other is a 20 gauge shotgun by remington, unfortunately the barrel is slightly too short for the gun range

| holy shit, what fuckin ak's are you guys getting that cost you 800 to 1600? are you kidding me? with 1200 i can get an M1-a civillian m14.
an ak RETAIL should not go for more than 600 bucks. the only ak ive seen so far for 1600 was a shortened class 3 semi auto, railed, ambidexterous, compensated, custom ak
anyways. im planning to get an sks. reliable, accurate enough, comes with a bayonet. $350 plus it uses 10 rnd stripper clips

there is no .223 m1-a. youre talking about the mini 14, completely different rifles only similar in looks

yep, ruger mini 14. how was your experience with it anyway? for 600 bucks or so its a pretty damn good deal for a rifle. especially since it uses the m14s tried and true bolt system how was the reliability and accuracy?

| it worked great, we got it for 580$ at walmart a few years back. at the trail glades range next to krome ave. and the casino, the max target range was 100 yards i think, and with a properly tuned iron sight and a sand bag rest we were drilling 2 inch groupings easy! with bulk .223 | |

I was thinking of an m14 because it is full auto like an m16 but accurate enough to be a sniper. 7.62 mm full metal jacket rounds. Or hollow point for hunting big game like moose.

| I wouldn't get a full auto m14 because it would have too much recoil. Semi auto is fine. | |
