Subject: Flying By airship in the art Deco Era 1929 Mon Oct 15, 2012 8:00 pm
Once upon a time there was once a world where Giant airships ruled the skys...This video I just recentlly watched is not a depiction of the all too remembered burning of the
Hindenburg but of the Epic journey of the Graf Zeppelin in the Art deco era.
I highly recommend all to take the time and dive into the incrediblly detailed footage documentry of this Art deco era journey into the past....You will see glimpses, here and there of events and fashions of the time.... It is a gloryious story of a Titanic ship of the sky that was and still is registered as the Largest aircraft in the world- (Length over 776 ft long!)
Some people still wonder if Steam punk really does exist?.....It kinda did here and there, its concepts were probablly at there strongest even in the art deco era.
This Video may be rather long but well worth the historic ride.... stuff like this should have been issued out in school, but given cut backs and possiblly todays generation of trendy teaching, these videos are largly unimportant and give way to more recent events like the End of the US space shuttle program.
