| this idea has been floating around in my brain for quite some time now and im going to try to put it into effect the next school year because i need this year to finish working out all the kinks. but i was thinking about starting a airsoft club inside my high school. there are a lot of things i have to cover with the administration but they think it is a good idea and that it will keep the kids at my school active. i just want to get ideas from the guys on the forum to see what they think and what they would do. | |

im not trying to make airsoft taboo but with stupidity trying to ban airsoft i wouldnt take any chances i already have a waiver and a contract that both student and parent have to sign and if the parents dont agree then they cant be in the club and there ar eother schools with clubs and thats what they do and it seems to work and if the administrations says its ok then the parents cant do anything about it.

School and Airsoft doesn't mix! I think of it like trying to get oil and water to bond. The school system agenda is to educate students....I myself do not see airsoft as a sort of program that could work in concert with school systems and there is a political factor that if news ever got out that if it ever did happen and one bad apple put up sensational bad news...think of the heads that would roll!? Airsoft club in a school is like hosting for punks on an honor system....Maybe in a Military school this is acceptable....Watch out for CHUCKY!

| I'm sure people would've been fine with it, but after 9/11 and recent mass shootings, it's not really going to be that popular I personally wouldn't want an airsoft club because I'd spend more time focusing on that then my schoolwork, as sad as that sounds | |
