is it just me or is lithium not that safe of a power source?
Given the dangers of Over recharging or overdraining them, there are now more current technologies that have built in shut offs to take the danger out of Lipo batteries.
I fly a remote controll Helicopter and actually stock pile a lot of batteries just so I could fly Hour long sessions or more.
You should never recharge a Battery when its hot.
Do not leave them too long on a charger... even if they are automatic chargers.
Lipo batteries have a lifespan and even built inside a foam RC airplane, those batteries need to be changed...I fly a 2007 RC Dragonfly Orthocopter and by now, my entire fleet is grounded until I could custom install new 3 .1 volt Lipo batteries.
Given my say is not for Airsoft, the Issue of batteries are deeply related to all the things we wanna power.
