| ok everyone, I have been going just about every weekend like most ppl and it has come to my attention time and time again that it takes WAY too long to pick teams and start playing. Its ridiculous...I for one don't show up to dress up and stand around for 20-30 minutes before a game gets started...whether its the first game or the 3rd game and I'm pretty sure no one else does either. I have an idea that could help everyone out and make the team picking process go a LOT faster. Its simple. There will be two different teams. Green team and Tan team. The way it will work is you'll get together with your teammates and decide on if your gonna play on Green team or Tan team for whatever the upcoming weekend will be. You'll then wear the appropriate uniforms/clothes that go along with whichever team you chose. This will all be settled and taken care of here on the forums during the week before the games. Here is a List of the different Uniforms that are considered Green and Tan teams. Green Team Uniforms: Woodland BDUMARPATOD GreenVeitnam Tiger-stripesACUABUblackTan Team Uniforms: Tri-Color Desert DCUDesert "Chocolate Chip" BDUDesert DigitalsMulticamTan / Khaki / Desert SandCoyote BrownBritish Desert CamoI'm pretty sure everyone here has at least one thing from both teams that they can wear to show what team they are on. Using this 'system' we can get ready each weekend and simply split up green from tan and bam we start playing instead of all the picking players crap. If you look up Airsoft forums in other states this is the exact same system they use to play and pick teams and it works. Its also how they organize all NATIONAL Airsoft Events such as Op. Irene VII and Op. Pine Plains. It cuts down on wait time and increases GAME Time...and THAT is what everyone shows up for...game time. If anyone has a better idea that is simple...I'm listening. | I don't think it's going to work as to dividing the teams even, you shall see it's going to be a cluster fu%k. The main problem is going to be teams wanting to stick together rather than 2 team captains and choosing players per turn. This would be the way to go. Just my opinion

| what i think that can work is that we make 2 teams Marines vs Seals and people should start saying in wat team they want to be in soo wen they play in the weeken we dont have choice any teams and that how we will play in the field every weeken. | |

| i like the idea now whether or not these kids can pull it off i dont know. but i agree with fear it will make identifying team mates easier. the only downside i would see is that the "tan" team would have a disadvantage when it comes to trying to camouflage in the brush. | |

| not only that but most people wear two or more different colors, usually included in the green team. this plan wont work for sfar, especially if our new field is all woods, most people are gonna switch to woodland and digital patterns | |

| I like how some of you say this won't work...and you haven't even tried it yet. It seems to work for the rest of the country...theres no reason it won't work here as long as you put the effort in to bring a single extra jacket to wear for the opposite team just in case it gets uneven. To fix the problem of too many showing up as one color everyone brings a blouse or T-shirt for each team. So if there is an uneven amount a few ppl just change their jackets and bam problem solved and we start playing. Sanddragon, a Veitcong uniform or a gangster uniform would be Green team and a Taliban uniform would be Tan team. I'll even be the one to Organize the thread on the forums about what team everyone plans on being on each week so all everyone has to do is tell me Green or Tan and then just show up dressed as such and bring an extra opposite team jacket/t-shirt. This is very simple. and Tan team trust me you can just as easily disappear in the brush dressed in tan as a green player can in green. I know I've done it before plenty of times | |

| I like your efforts Reaper but I still do not trust the other players commitement to bring all those dedicated colors...I myself can do all that but I had a working system of using tape. Any one "remember" how I quickly taped up a team ? I would pre-cut out several tape strips and put them to the hood of my car and I had players taped very quick! usually made about 15-20 pre-cut strips if there were 30 or 40 players... one time had to accomidated 80 players with all my tape -40 strips! It is extra work and it has its draw backs but is a matter of enforcing a rabble of a team! If your Idea doesn't catch on there's always tape! Also I would try making arm bands in the future as they can be reused and if so a player can bring these as part of their kit. | |

I agree with sanddragon, not that reapers idea is bad, but about a 90% of the people that goes on saturdays wear woodland, that would be a problem, second, not all of us have that much money to buy 2 uniforms, not even one, (Im the kid that looks like a cheap swat team) besides, if someone wants to bring something extra should be deadrags, i got shot twice after i was hit . Its easier to use tape so everyone can use the uniform they want, just put tape on and thats it. | |
