| hey everyone! i know i haven't posting or been playing lately (been busy with school) but i've scouting around to find a legit airsoft field (cqb or outdoors) and i came across one thats up here in Hollywood. Miamirage.com. yeah it's a paintball field but come saturday night's paintballer's get kicked out and airsoft is free to lurk about. I wen't today to scout it and from the looks of it, its a pretty kick ass field. check out the pics on the website. I asked the owner how many people the field can hold and he told me that it could easily hold 50 vs 50 matches. the field has shaded area's + venders that sell food, drinks ect. game's start at 7pm and run till 10pm (field also has lights but can be requested to turn off for true night ops.) eye protection is required but full face mask is not (from what i was told) and the bang rule is always in effect. I also asked how many people are there on average and he said quite a few. there is also a fee to get in ($15 bucks). so what do you guys think? is it worth a shot? all of S.F.A.R against a bunch of randoms? i'm going tonight to go play and see, so i'll let you know what i think. | |

| i got ya, but hey lets say once a month well all go play on this field. i mean how often does sfar get to play together on the same team? instead of having a jumble of teams at our foxhole location or cqb location we use the teams as squads and play? just a thought though. i'm leaving right now to go play there so like i said i'll tell you how it goes and if it's even worth it. | |

| Might not be that crowded tonight. A lot of players are heading to the big game at Hot Shots tomorrow morning. SEAD (Southeast Airsoft Division) vs. Hot Shots. Gonna be a hell of a game.
As for rage. Its a 2.3 acre field. Its fun, but you will have invincible ninjas just like at SFAR. If your rifle is shooting hot, it might get a spot check with the chrono and if it is , you will not be allowed to use it at the field.

| just got back from rage, 50+ people 25v25. nice field, trenches, bunkers, good cover, big "house" with rooms, doors and a sniper tower. i agree with the owner. it could easily hold a 50vs50 match. best of all everyone called their hits, there were a couple who didn't but mostly everyone would see they didn't call hit and call them out anyways. full face mask was not required (i saw alot of people with just saftey glasses) there was very low lighting. flashlights and lazers where everywhere and with the light that was there would sometimes go off from the breaker overheating(awesome for forward movement) HUGE firefights between teams. lots of game types (FvF, hold a certian position, get the intel, ect) games ran a decent time 15-20 mins, 5-15 mins for break and reload when game was called over then next game started. everybody was friendly to everyone else. In my opinion i say we give this field a shot. personally i'm going again next weekend. this field is big enough for the best snipers and gets close enough to use pistols. so let me know what you all think. and for euro. you don't have to be a ninja you just have to use good team work. and for the chrono assult rifles were peaking at 400+fps there. its just the minimum engagment range extend from 10 to 20ft. snipers had a minimum engagement range of 20-25 feet. within 10ft the bang rule comes into effect. | |

| LOL.....play at Rage a few times and you will get tired of it. Once you know Rage you will see that there are very few decent lines of attack on that field. Plus one of the biggest problems that ALWAYS happens is people taking advantage of the fact that attackers and defenders start getting entangled. People will use the "hey friendlys here" and you can't see them and they shoot you......personally that kinda play pisses me off as I consider that pretty much cheating. Don't get me wrong I still go to Rage but I really wish there was something else. | |
