| I would love to argue that. I dont want an effective range of 125~ ft, I want 125~ YARDS!! Sorry dude, just like in golf, even if the ball has enough back spin to keep it up in the air, kinetic energy still has the most effect in distance. Take it from a golfer, we see it at its extremes all the time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-jxoQ4rtxsc | |

| True that, but the general concept is the same. As a matter of fact, shoulf you increase the initial veloticy of the golf ball of the airsoft bb, you want less spin so that you do not create a arch effect and the ball has a drop effect at the end. You guys should attend a Long Drive Competition some time soon, Like the Re-Max competitions. These guys hit 400+ yards. and they bring the techs for you to give them any scenario so that they do the math for you to see the total distance traveled. We should do the discusion on this there. Have them put an airsoft bb through thier systems and have them give us the end result. Plus they will be unbiased. Agreed? For now, lets just enjoy 350 fps as an average. | |
