i disagree with the restrictions,i thought we're supposed to make it realistic? I've been scarred by airsoft and bled,i just got over it,as for little kids,i think it's cool that they try it out,but if they can't handle it then i suggest they stop playing,i do think we should call bang at point blank but i also think that it's instinct to pull the trigger,it's happened to me before

I have away say that there away going to be someone that will shoot you point blank they just will say if you don't like it leave. You can't fight them all there away to be those kind of retards

i agree and will support when inside semi auto ONLY. and that ON TOP OF me supporting the FPS restriction..

if its your instinct to pull the trigger you should stop playing for a bit till you get your trigger control up a notch on your skill sets.

thats not an excuse at all, ive been surprised so many times and not once have i pulled the trigger cause of it.....same goes for alot of other people ive played with at the field.

CQB building skirmishes elevate the potental of getting lit up at very close range...It is actually unfair for those who go by the book and use their pistols, bang out as well as fire single shot "semi automatic"

Semi automatic was put on airsoft guns for a reason- they are intended for building skirmishes but unfortunatelly most players seem to never turn that knob and just as well let dust collect on it!

people who run in and spray don't respect the pistol handicap rule either and may have just as well no aiming abilites at all, Also on top of that No one is having fun when everyone is getting hurt.

Buildings should be semi automatic with the exception that distant players be aimed and treated like a field game.

That is why i am upgrading my cqb gun to a 330fps maybe 300 and high speed gears, high speed motor and 9.6

im just thinking out loud here, and first let me say no one likes to get hurt (except those people that do) or hurt someone in airsoft (unless your an A-hole). but if you cant deal with the fact that you may get hurt in airsoft then you have two options; wear more protection, or dont play. its just the nature of the game its like when people dont call hits its inevitable and although unfortunate its there. i do agree with an fps limit and most airsoft facility's do have fps limits. another thing is that we are simulating combat, and automatic fire (besides heavy and light machine guns) were designed for cqc. so i dont remember what else i was going to say because i got distracted but thats my 2 cents. theres nothing wrong with bang bang so just be a little more catious we wouldnt need to be having this huge ordeal.

I put padding behind my vest because the back had no protection at all. Then I shot my dad from like 5 feet away with 400 FPS gun in semi. He said it felt like being hit with a belt, then I checked his back it was only red no broken skin, about an hour later it was still red but smaller. Then he shot me in the knee 30 feet away and it left a really nasty welt.

These guns are serious in their power hit capabilities.

Rapid fire at that range can still knock googles clear off, even break teeth!

in building fighting action should be set to single shots and not spraying.- Reserve full auto spray for distance fighting or targets that are far and if you think a guy is close, don't be lazy! switch the mode to single shot!

the battle is scary intense when players are really just feet away and frankly I would rather just say bang but some of these guys still just lay on a spray!!!

I love airoft but dread this kind of cheap shot dangerious game action.

I want everyone to imagine what would happen if every game played ended in you or someone getting sprayed full auto at 8-9 feet and bang out rule is disreguarded!

Just wanna let you guys an update November 15th 2010....I still bear the marks on my skin in these very areas! I will later post a photo of the healed marked skin!

Just imagine if you were shot up in the face like this, would you really want to permanently wear marks?

Players using Lipos need to also chill with the close firing action... It really is not worth playing a sport that actually starts to deal personal permanent damage... players who are also repeatedly shot from up close may need to back down on the aggressive manuvers or wear more armor.

shots to the face should be plain avoided...this is only a game so go for center of mass...when enguading up close and personal...switch over to your pistol.

Head on fights may require full face protection and no upgraded weapons allowed.

Perhaps...I dunno...you should do a chrono check. The whole a "It must have been the battery" is not true. I hate to break it to you Sanddragon but welts like that were left from a gun shooting over 400 fps. The spring/barrel/compression make up the fps not the battery. Even with a normal battery you would have still gotten tagged 2-3 times that bad so the problem is the gun shooting hot. If someone shot me like that and I found them I would take their gun and throw it in a lake.

repo ia right. the guy is most likely shooting close to 475 or 500. we should institute an FPS rule. at 400fps there is a 5-10 ft bang out rule. 450 fps there is a 25 ft no shoot distance and you must have a pistol. over 450 is a sniper and requires a 50-75 ft no shoot distance and you must have a secondary for close up engagements. as far as shots to the face i wear a shemag and it works.

nah thats not that bad, at 450 up close youre gonna have bbs piercing flesh. thats below 450 but still sucks cack.....and tahts most likely a lipo battery
