Shooting rapid fire at point blank range... very stupid!

Why dont you guys enforce a FPS rule? Especialy if you are constantly playing amongst each-other.
Doesnt that make sense? I just got into air-soft and the store actually thought i was nuts becuase i dont want my gun to shoot over 390 fps. It seems to me the NORM is people hopping their guns up to 470 and above.
You all make valid points and to me the solution seems simple.

That is why i have a dmr shooting 450+ and i try to bang people out from 30 ft. then the get pissed at me. so i have a cqb gun shooting 360 and high rof. problem solved.

There's no room for people trying to hurt players. The group we play in usually agrees on and follow the field rules... and the reason I am writing anything is just so I can post this picture:

I lent a sword member my DMR that shoots 500 fps on Saturday and he had no problem using it on semi without injuring anyone.

A DMR and sniper shooting over 450 should have about a 20 ft bang radius. So you either should have a backup or know that you have to surrender when people get close and can't "bang" people out behind cover. If you want to use a high fps weapon you should know this is going to be your handicap and deal with it.

Also a bolt action sniper can only bang 1 person and not two unless you get them from behind, but you cannot bang 2 people when they are both right infront of you. You get one but chambering your round would get you killed by the next. The only other recourse you have is to call "Parley" and let the second opponent go back 20 ft behind cover (while you can do the same) and reengage.

my friend had 3 nasty shots to his face on saturday, there was someone specifically aiming for the face that day, i have an idea of who it was, but im not pointing any fingers.


my gun is rated 430, but we all know its probably under 400 using .20's i only shoot enough till the person calls out, i never intend to over spray
