PostCards from California...part 2!
(Saturday August 6 2011)
I arrived Safely in Stockton after an uneventful flight yesterday...Now chilling in Stockton with my Sister who has brought her kids as well!
The Days events unfold today based entirely on the mood and capacities of a mother and her babys so we ended up going to a flea market , a Museum and 2 city center parks in downtown Stockton....I have not been able to escape and try some other more wild shit...looks like we will be going to some kiddy land place!
The day is still on going of this typing and all my relatives are dropping in to see us!
The food here is great and I actually ate way too much and the weather here in the Valley is cool in the mornings as well as at night...and hot in all daylight!
I will see If I can later upload any further pictures as I explore Californias wonders!
Picture of the LA X Dome at the airport!

At San Fransico on a Tuesday Morning August 2011
I Finally got away from the Valley and hit the City by the Bay, We took the scenic route along the river following the exact same path the huge sea going ships take to get out of port Stockton to get out of the Valley and into the sea. We were originally going to hit up China town but decided to go to the Embarkadero Clocktower and see a Farmers market, a few old paddle wheeler steam ships and a cool plaza area gilded with fountains.
City action here is as busy as a weekend in Miami, and its just a Tuesday! Weather was at first Foggy but nice and Sunny now and very cool!
We stayed for 4 chimes of the clock tower and we almost got towed too!...No one here runs on cuban time! Later on we made off for Japan town instead of Chinatown because all my brothers wanted to get some anime treasures and I could always use another kimodo or Happi shirt!
much later...
The Food is great here in the Japan area!
since we are all with my sister and she is with babys we all have to take turns watching the little ones.
Gonna go Catch me a Cable car! and its might get chilly tonight!

Subject: A trip to CQB CITY STOCKTON CALIFORNIA Sunday August 14 2011 Sun Aug 14, 2011 5:41 pm
Last night I was flying a Remote controlled airplane aircraft called Dragon fly on a fully charged battery in the calm moon lite when a Halk or maybe an owl swooped in and caught the aircraft and flew off with it!- I never saw it again! It was kind of epic until the very next day I got my brother Andrew to get up and go down the road to nearby CQB city which really was less than 5 miles away!
The Facility... You do not see the cars in the photo, but its jammed packed!
It really was just a simple drive down 8 mile road and right next to the train tracks! Upon entry to the building area we noticed a lot of parked cars followed by distant explosions of airsoft grenades and the titter tatter of airsoft gun fire - we began to start running to the entrance to see with anticipation!
This Place is FUKKING HUGE! the rest area is so huge it could have been a gaming area by itself! More than 90+ players are here and in attendance today.
I introduced myself to the owner and he gladly gave me a kick ass tour of the place between games so I can post these for the forum community- even going so far as to loan us weapons and gear! I gave him our Forum info so he will be looking us up and exchanging ideas with us- MAD RESPECT!
The Castle: Frag grenade action in one of the many rooms:
Notable Features: This CQB city is within a huge indoor warehouse,It has several static vehicals such as a school bus and old cars, all are for gaming action. Professionaly made rooms with heavy hinged doors for kicking in puposes!... for police training of course! Some rooms have interchangeble or moving walls so the layout is subject to change... they also have a model map of the field layout on display!
There are also drivable vehicals for patroling and even some operational field cannons!
Everything here is heavily moderated by gaming referees... there is another post we have up detailing there enforcing rules and regulations...My brothers are now more intensely interested in the intreging sport and may soon start to drop those video game controllers and join our ranks!
Gotta go Man a gun now some where in California!

Dorking out in Lodi with the old man!
Hanging out at Nearby Lodi, a quiet old town that is near the river.
I went to an area called Lodi Lake and found a public artifical beach and you know me, I had to put up a SandCastle there!
The locals have never seen anything like it and the Park people even went so far as to rope the area off!
Its a Nice sunny day out here in the Valley and I am looking forwards to hitting up the bay area again soon....spent the rest of the day on family house projects and video games.

Looks like My Vacation will be running down its course soon so my Dad is going all out now.
We went earlty this morning and spent the whole day at Historic Olde Sacramento... It is kind of Like the Bayside shops and Downtown Miami, Except we spent hours captivated by Steam Trains, Steam Boats, and shopping at all the odd steam punk shops!
Meanwhile... at the Military museum!
at the Hat shop... almost bought this...great for maybe the GREEK FESTIVAL!
At the Hat Shop my brothers, dad and I bought several for a discounted price, Ten Dollars a hat!...We purchased 2 Vietcong hats for airsoft games for upcoming CQB city games and 3 British Safari Hats and 1 British Empire pith helmet.... I think I maxed out my baggage so it will be a strange sort of carry on when I have to take a plane flight home!....Had to also pass up buying a WW2 Helmet...I think its Japanese as well as a New Top Hat......Next Time I will bag them!
I will be Going To San Francisco Tommorow and looking forwards to some more site seeing adventure!

Foggy day over the bay with a nice break of sunshine later on.
San Francisco August 27th 2011
Loaded up my Dad's Family car and took off to the City by the Bay, though bright and sunny in the valley it was Foggy as soon as we cleared the foot hills. We set off for Japan town, Now usually I don't approve of overdoing a repeat visit to a Mall destination but today happened to be a pop cultural event day for all those who celebrate cosplaying and other Anime- Manga related interests. My little brothers insisted to go so I went with it...It was a home run event!, Probablly the best display of Japanese art and style Ive ever seen and so I spent a lot of time taking pictures of Cosplayers as well as attending some special event tents.
There was live music and the sun finally broke through mid day for even more spectacular photos! While my brothers and dad were shopping we all took the time to divide up into 3 groups and explore the neighborhood shopping center- this time I covered more than just the mall!
I found a few more treasure keep sakes and even a Kamakazi bandana for those upcomming suicidal airsoft missions!
We later took off to nearby Chinatown and we only did half the town and the chinese park....we were all getting worn out of shopping so a good walk in this park was refreshing.
Only got a bit turned off by an angry customer at one of the shops who was pissed off at a chop keeper for a very bad deal and was barking to everyone not to buy from this spot...and in a way it hit me that that last shop keeper was kind of giving us a U BUY NOW ATTITUDE!...Japantown had more class! the Inflexibility over an issue of buying too many postage stamps and no refunds is not worth the crap this guy was dishing out and the owner has no Shame in the matter!... but I also believe they did charge too much!
I would not allow myself to get all caught up in the incident and so went on to other Chinese venues.
We bugged out of the city quite early, around 6pm I think and had no traffic issues on the return to the valley.
Here's some picts of a fun eventful day.
plenty of room for STEAMPUNK! All the Leong Bros are here!
Some artistic girls who can model some pretty neat life-like dolls! looks like pure Art to me!
The Sun Finally breaks out of the clouds and shines over the pagoda.
Papas reaction to a bunch of Kamakazis!

Ya I know!... I was rocking my eyeglasses at Old Sacramento!... Today My cousin Westley Foo took me down to the old cowboy town and we hung out, chatted a bit and I bought a nice new Top Hat at the hat shop to replace my old one my girlfriend is hogging up back in Miami- shes also into steam punk! I also took in a nice view at the Tower Bridge and took in a nice view of the State capital before retiring for the day... I believe this is the most I ever walked Sacramento, including actually crossing the bridge!
I was not sucessful panning for gold in which I took about 20 minutes trying to do while my cousin Foo looked on!
I have begun to start packing for home and have noted I purchased so many sovineniers and other clothing , I may have to ship them in a box or leave some of my old clothing at my dads house...I already decided to leave my brother Anthony my old fedora hat figuring I can buy another new one back at downtown Miami.
