Last night I was flying a Remote controlled airplane aircraft called Dragon fly on a fully charged battery in the calm moon lite when a Halk or maybe an owl swooped in and caught the aircraft and flew off with it!- I never saw it again! It was kind of epic until the very next day I got my brother Andrew to get up and go down the road to nearby CQB city which really was less than 5 miles away!
The Facility... You do not see the cars in the photo, but its jammed packed!
It really was just a simple drive down 8 mile road and right next to the train tracks! Upon entry to the building area we noticed a lot of parked cars followed by distant explosions of airsoft grenades and the titter tatter of airsoft gun fire - we began to start running to the entrance to see with anticipation!
This Place is FUKKING HUGE! the rest area is so huge it could have been a gaming area by itself! More than 90+ players are here and in attendance today.
I introduced myself to the owner and he gladly gave me a kick ass tour of the place between games so I can post these for the forum community- even going so far as to loan us weapons and gear! I gave him our Forum info so he will be looking us up and exchanging ideas with us- MAD RESPECT!
The Castle: Frag grenade action in one of the many rooms:
Notable Features: This CQB city is within a huge indoor warehouse,It has several static vehicals such as a school bus and old cars, all are for gaming action. Professionaly made rooms with heavy hinged doors for kicking in puposes!... for police training of course! Some rooms have interchangeble or moving walls so the layout is subject to change... they also have a model map of the field layout on display!
There are also drivable vehicals for patroling and even some operational field cannons!
Everything here is heavily moderated by gaming referees... there is another post we have up detailing there enforcing rules and regulations...My brothers are now more intensely interested in the intreging sport and may soon start to drop those video game controllers and join our ranks!
Gotta go Man a gun now some where in California!
added footage of a previous game provided by a player... Thanks team Elvis!

CQB City has a really good field. Personally I like a more finished look, but its alot easier in raw wood to switch out boards for repairs and modifications to the building structures.
The size of the building could be obtained here in South Florida, but there doesn't seem to be enough interest to obtain one.

They also host night games and is working its way up to hosting games every day!
a door actually designed for the heavy abuse of this sport!
movable walls!
some realy nice simulated spaces good like this bar, now serving up pain and suffering!
one of many rooms!
I was trying to build one of these and in agony too!, these guy make my tree house project look like a minor detail!

Send me a Pm detailing me any builds if an Indoor CQB is being built, Maybe I can volunteer some building efforts and look into the design plans based on what I have already seen here at the CQB.

Actually the project keeps moving the structures will be built be local contractors. It will add to the overall cost of the project, but the quality and improved durability would be well worth it.
Overall I think I have looked at over 40 different plans for cqb places and think that the Toronto paintball cqb place and Vanassas VA training fields are really the type of example I would be looking to follow.

The Action here is just like what I posted on the Video that can be found on the posted thread.
Action here is very intense with more players running around with pistols, shotguns as well as the usual AEG rifles, Though pistols are cheaper and more suited for this kind of place!
I might buy a pistol cheap here, but leave it for my brothers- maybe they will evolve next time I come back as well established airsofters....after I left years ago our old arsenal of cool weapons has since degraded and all thoughts of war were forgotten!

Saturday Debriefing at CQB city Stockton California August 20,2011
Setting up my Brothers for ther impending DOOM!
Much later... This weekend I was planning to Drop in to CQB city but unfortunatelly I had to bump it to Saturday suddenly because my Dad was sick so Why waste a Saturday in California when its only 5 miles down the road!
Today I hooked up my Brothers with rented gear and they shared a gun as It was all I could afford and I sent them out to cut their teeth!
Games here were started from 10am to 4pm with sequental timed scenario games with over 90 + plus players attending.
Today I was able to Hook up with a few members of Team, "ELVIS" and filmed them in action while taking shots as a camera man... hopefully My efforts passing the Forum information will establish a few new members here!
Action at CQB city has some intense game play here , there really was no bang out rule here and so you gotta watch out for those corners!- I took several shots to the goggles and 1 to my middle finger, but none to the camera.
Here are pictures of todays CQB action at CQB city Stockton California.
P.S. to all new members from CQB, WELCOME TO OUR AIRSOFT COMUNITY FORUM!
Guns for Hire! The Owner Logging on to our Forum!

Subject: Detailed Operations At CQB CITY STOCKTON Tue Aug 23, 2011 4:58 pm
Operations Detail at CQB city STOCKTON:
This Fields Battle arena is roughly about the same size as a Super Walmart of inclosed shaded indoor battle space.
It may justify the high fee of 30 dollars entry fee and other rentals due to many expenditures.
Rented gear requires them holding your credit card- just in case you break it!
The field is kept clean and free of bbs by use of leaf blowers
It has a staff of more than 10 people as refferees and sales people and ticket masters.
Stationary vehicals and props include one old school bus , 1 lincoln town car, 1 minivan. I am not sure if they are ever moved around and I am sure they are engineless clunkers.
The referees have an observitory tower on a lift in the center of the field for referee use only.
The Facility has a full on P.A. system that will Blast all sorts of sound effects as well as rocking music...they are located through out the facility.
There are 2 main spawn bases with climbable sniper towers. as well as several small minor towers
CQB here may or may not exercise bang out rules so ask before entering a game!
Apparently they have games ongoing here with unlimited respawns so that anyone just arriving may join in, Team ID is usually pitted with players dressed in black or T shirts verses Camoflage and even further subdivided some times if enough gather dressed in other uniforms.
T-shirt players are usually n00bs- sorry to say but they are also many to compensate, I watched a couple games where they were basically driven back to their spawn point but funny seeing many suddenly bonsai charge out!
Referees often make sure that one team is never allowed to raid a spawn camp...parking lines on the floor are used as indicators of where one team cannot pass.
Rickochets and gun hits count due to grenade usage.
I have not asked about the usage of motorized vehicals- who drives them, who can drive them is it requiring extra required fees and qualifications...Anyone know the answers- do tell.
Players attending may or may not be locals one local player said they came from Santa Cruz and discount the one guy from Miami Beach!
Interesting note: heard of some complaints about players firing straight up into the ceiling, maybe a few lights have been taken out, reason unknown but probablly stupid!
There are organized teams who do come in mass....Team Elvis reminds me or Feam H.R.O.!... Next time I will have to pack with me on a trip my uniform and team colors!
Most airsoft weapons I have encountered do not seem to be hitting hard but then again players shooting at me and my camera were about 50 to 75 feet away.
Several airsoft weapons here including ones owned by my brothers are really cheap substandard chinese plastic toy guns... there were many players with spring and gas blowback pistols.
Full auto is not allowed in CQB games as far as I know. And probablly for a good reason, turning around corners are already deadly enough and next to near impossible!
Blind Firing is not allowed- just follow the rules of fair play, you will get it and see why it makes sense!
All kids and teenagers attending are required to wear a full face mask! A standard waiver and parent Guardian must sign the waiver.
Night games and zombie skirmishes do happen here frequently, It is specially organized or conducted by the owner.
Games always occur on the weekends from 10am - 4pm with some games on random weekdays, the owner is pushing for enough strong attendance to see the venue open everyday.
Looks like I will be heading out there again on Sunday August 28th, I will try to get more info!
Mayday

Thanks SandDragon for that great review of the Field, I am Ryan one of the Reffs at CQB City and Like SandDragon said its full of action. to answer some of the questions though
1. Movement of Vehicles: We try to change the layout of the field once every 6 months if not sooner so players"Operators" do not have a chance to adapt too much. with that being said, the last "City " change did in face entail moving the vehicles using forklifts. Even the bus was moved....it was very cool to watch and not too much fun to clean all the BB's that were underneath....
2. Use of Buggies: The Staff of CQB City use the Buggies as a Extraction Vehicle in many of our Scenarios. only the staf are allowed to drive them but we do occasionally take passingers
3. Use of artillary cannons: Since the Rearrangement of the field, we have not used the cannon but we do have smaller versions of "RPG" resemblance that we use. they shoot out small "nerf" footballs and we never shoot anyone directly due to safety concearns.
I hope this has answered the questions so far and please feel free to ask more...I will do my best to answer with the best of my knowledge..have fun out there Mayday out!!!

it is a nice field, ive been there is probably april. the only thing is that the map didnt look like in april. it was easier to rush teh enemy and then sit at there spawn and shoot them. they redesigned it to be better for beginners lmao but as far as big, they dont say there the biggest just to brag.

Looks like things are looking good for CQB CITY...I am sure there will be even more stuff to see next time I pay them a visit!
