| I bought a jg g36c as a project gun and I'm really not sure what I want to do with it. Ive always wanted a extremely high fps setup so kids will call there hits. I already have a high rof setup with my TM Highcycle. Please give me some ideas of what to do with it along with product names. Thanks | |

| if your on a budget, i suggest you not get into this just yet. i will however split the high fps upgrades from the ones that are additional to improve accuracy and what not.. Group 1; 100% upgrade - Quote :
- Air Seal Nozzle
Bushings (note, get metal bushings in the proper size, IF your bushings aren't already metal. Shim Set Cylinder Helical Torque up Gears (quieter and more efficient than flat torque gears) Cylinder Head hop up bucking and nub reinforced piston grease piston head M150 Spring spring guide (NOTE, only buy if your spring guide is NOT metal. if it IS metal but doesnt have bearings on it, that is fine. you only will need bearings on the piston head) tightbore barrel
All these parts together shipped from ehobbyasia is going to cost $150.83. Group 2; fps only - Quote :
- Air Seal Nozzle

Just these parts together shipped from ehobbyasia is going to cost $101.85 the gearbox may be able to take a stronger spring than that, but i wanted to ensure it still had good reliability. hope this helps

| high 400's to 500's with an m150? I had 490fps with an m130 in my m4 and about 530fps with an m140.If he has good compression and a tightbore an m140 should be more than enough enough. | |

also consider these things; the spring has a slightly further travel distance in the v.3 gearbox, different brand springs, though may be labeled with the same strength rating, don't always put out the same amount of power. (company traights; an example would be the madbull springs, they are stronger than what they are labeled) characteristics of the spring like if it has an irregular pitch or not. these things can affect the spring strength/power, and the life of the spring over time. i built a m4 dmr with a m155 and it was shooting 540. but i changed brands and "downgraded" to a m130, and that shot 467. ive had m90 springs shoot 380-390, but other brand m90 springs shoot 330-340. ive been doing mods for 6 years and gone through tons of parts, trust me. that spring will shoot hot, but the gun will be ok.
