KWA vs. WE-Tech vs. KJW vs. Socom Gear vs. Maruzen

This is just a post I feel like putting up to get the opinions of anyone whose had experiences or is currently having experiences with GBB pistols of the fore mentioned brands in the Title topic. How do you like them? What's their build quality like? Reliability/Durability? Differences between brands if you've had one from each? Etc etc etc.....Please lets refrain from any flame wars or fan boys going at it. Don't bash on any of these brands because it didn't work for you because it obviously works for some one and by some one I mean a lot of somebodies otherwise these brands wouldn't exists.

I'm also shopping around for pistol's. I was thinking about getting a kwa or kjw from Miami airsoft. I heard those are really good brands. Even tough my brother in law has a we tech 1911. And so far nothing bad to say.

out of all those brands i reccomend kjw, ive never had a bad experience with them, unlike with kwa and we tech

Could you please elaborate and give better detail.

well i have a KJW sig sauer p226 and i love it. its literally been tossed in sand, gravel, dust, water, grass, ect. ive put it through hell and back and its still kicking. i havnt tried any other brands but this does more than enough for a side arm. its got amazing distance and a good 5 inch grouping at 70 ft. not bad for a pistol that has no upgrades. im gona get a new spring, slide, 6.03 tightbore barrel for it. the slide and barrel im gona get 1in longer than it is now. with all of that it could be used as a primary, lol.

Brand comparison from experiance.

WE
pros: low cost for both pistol and magazines, moderate gas consumption (1.5 mags per fill on most styles), moderate range for a pistol
cons: low build quality on most models, magazines tendancy to leak, many parts are desighned to not last very long if used on a constant basis so poor use for CQB environments

KWA/KSC
pros: moderate cost for both pistol and magazines, low gas consumption (2.5 mags per fill on most styles), moderate range for a pistol, moderate build quality
cons: magazines tendancy to leak, proprietary magazines and internal parts make aftermarket parts harder to find

KJW
pros: low cost for most models of pistols and magazines, moderate gas consumption (1.5 mags per fill on most styles), moderate range for a pistol, depending on model it will have moderate build quality
cons: this brand is really the middle of the road on pretty much everything and the only con I have seen is certain models have lower external quality

Maruzin
pros: HIGH cost for all models and magazines, moderate gas consumtion (1.5-2 mags per fill on most styles), moderate range for a pistol, Extremely high build quality
cons: proprietary everything, high quality external paint makes any signs of wear harder to cover up unless you do a complete paintjob

Tokyo Marui
pros: High cost for all models and magazines, moderate gas consumption (1.5 mags per fill on most models), High range for a pistol, light in weight
cons: magazines will leak when using the type of propellant we use here in the US unless you install better valves in the mags, many of the internal parts will wear down from higher psi gasses common in the US, plastic body is very durable but will still show alot of wear from just the holster.

i have a we tech m1911 and it has worked wonders for me. it has great build quality and the mag can hold allot of gas.the only thing that i don't like about it is that it ways a little bit to much and the iron sights are off as well.

pros:
. good build quality
. full metal construction
. good pricing
. accuracy is great
. range is ok


cons:
. to heavy
. sights are off (you should buy gun sight paint and put some on it helped me allot)

over all great gun.recommended.

My KWA M93r mkII has never done me wrong. and my KP45 MATCH has been to hell and back. KWA performs end of story IMO great guns at a great value
