Now for the most ambitious project for Matrix Tactical airsoft field.

This is Project Alcatraz CQB area- located where the concrete pillars are all still standing!

The project is actually beyond my own resourse abilities but it will require the help of a "Dream team".
Origionally I was going to just refurbish walls in a maze like pattern around the existing structures to create the right CQB effect areas but thought it may be interesting to take it a step further by adding a second floor on the strongest sets of existing pillars and include a few more staircases, ladders and a tower pillbox!

There is enough area for many rooms to be constructed to host some deadly CQB pistol games here or it could host something more!

The extent of this construction could be ongoing and even include the last of all the surviving Concrete structures to create the ultimate out door simulated CQB facility.

We will be needing raw manpower,Donated materials , and maybe even a building permit if we take it too far!

Project alcatraz will feature simulated rooms with doors and windows, hallways, stairwells, lighting, ...does this sound and smell like Silo?

This project cannot take place without proper assembly of disscussion or the assembly of a crew and materials.

i might be able to help on presidents day with some others there is no school for me tat day so if i dont go fishing i will go and help out as much as i can.

Badass! This sounds awesome! Specially the second floor idea. That would just be amazing!

Question is are we allowed to build it cause last I heard the owner of the field didn't want any more structures. A building with a second floor is bad ass

I can help build it! Ill try to come up with a decent supply of extra plywood, its all over my garage.

When do you want to start this? I could bring tools and supplies on Sunday and get started after the last game.

#1 We will first need to clear out the building zone...EASY JOB

#2 next we will need to start stockpiling strong lumber for the frames we will want to be load bearing, and build the frames around the concrete pillars.

#3 The really fun part will be the wall building and hanging of doors.

The addition of a second floor and some stair wells could add an extra dynamic element to the game for all of those who would feel that this area is of strategic advantages...

The CQB area will be much bigger than all the other bases we built combined!
