Wooden Pallets wanted for bunker builds at Matrix Tactical

I got some kick ass ideas for Matrix tactical bunker builds...

I will actually be in need of a shit load of wooden pallets to construct some kick ass structures, even bridges and towers! - Another Tree house?

Unfortunatelly I have no personal capacity to actually haul them myself and I could use some help too!

I will also be needing guys who have the tools to cut and fuse them together.

For now if anyone can help out lets start stock piling pallets...6 will build a loadbearing cube and you can imagine that more can be done if more material was readily available.

Agenda list:

Acquire sources of wooden pallets

Delivery to the field location

A Building team assembled

planned bunkers forts are constructed.


IDEAS:
one idea is to add a fortress fence wall in the rear of German base to complete its fortress configuration.....this will reqire one cube and about 8 pallets to create a fense with 2 doors....the cube will also be a second lower watch tower.

Japanese base gets a watch tower

New bunker field opened up can get fencing configured like a maze fence with many cubes, maybe even a cat walk bridge!

For now If possible see if Pallets can be delivered to this field at random....We will stockpile before we build any design.

I can help out this Sunday (4/1/12) with whatever you need me to get done; designing, building.

I will be at Island Fest in the kes building Sandcastles!....This is about gathering the Pallet Materials so you guys will have to start stockpiling materials for any build.....

I will probablly not be available on most weekends due to beach work...This means you will have to independantlly design some ideas and if possible gather the materials for a future build.

Please no half ass constructions that look like they can and will fall apart!

Alright lets start assembling a team for this project, best we get organized and plan out what needs to get done. First priority will need to definently be stocking up wooden pallets. I will check my sources to see if I will be able to get my hands on a few (possibly 1-3 or more depending on source). I advise those willing to take part in this team should help out bringing wooden pallets also to ensure we get as much needed for this project.

if some one has a truck or a car capable of caring a heavy load Costco and bj have wooden pallets that they through out all the time and you could just pick them up.

That would be helpful, I was thinking of that similar idea as I referenced it as sources.

Pallets have been reclaimed and used in many structures.....Heres a few Ideas,


THE BASIC WALL:

Pallets made into fences- just line them up and secure them to a beam!
Pallet walls will not free stand so they must be always linked to anything that will hold it up......Nice if these walls are made freestanding and if they can be moved and repositioned....A pallet wall that can self stand on its own legs!

THE CUBE:
Free standing Pallet cubes..about six pallets fused together to form each side could make an alsome load bearing structure!



Triangle shaped bunker:
this bunker uses a palisade of Pallets in the form of a three sided bunker....each corner is a sturdy fused 3 sided pallet to create a sort of tower....#3 beams link and fuse each corner tower and the pallet walls are linked to those....All you need is to create door with hinges, a few windows.



The Castle:
Bunker configuration with a high concentration of pallet walls and tower combos.


Tree House:
It is what it is....maybe we can add a decent stair way too!


CQB structure:
The configuration is designed with walls that create hallways, doors and windows to shoot from- Rather Nasty if you wanna make a world of hurt!
The Structure is a Maze involving many rooms to check!

Bring Pallets!... we cannot do anything without first creating a rather huge stock pile!

The Pallet House is an idea developed by I-Beam Design firm for disaster relief response. did you not read the building ppost about those gaps?....they can be filled as the architect stated there is plenty of filler material for that...any gaps left open is fair game!

sanddragon so you want me to pay entrance and pay to make the field better why dont they use the money that they get from the field to make it better instead of asking players to donate when they already have to pay for entrance.

I am not sure if it is your age....given that you are 14 years old but I am very sure I would not have been given such a ridickulous question by anyone over 20!

This is just an extra volunteer assistance for those who just happen to have the time and trucks to help build for the airsoft community....You can sit back and enjoy the ride, stop bitching about the venue money as if we all gotta get paid!....Hell, I should get paid! I should be charging just for offering counceltation and advice !.....Last thing I need is a Smart-aleck always trying to see if he can say something witty just to see if he can put me in check!

I believe all these moves I said and make are very positive and sound....Our ultimate reward will be better airsoft wars!...Everyone will win....Oh and the Venue guys do in fact spend money building and maintaining the field....It would help to also offer Help!
