my cousin angel somehow knew of the sport and for his birthday he was having a party all the way in Okeechobee at a field my aunt owned so he decided to turn it into an airsoft party i didnt know wat that was at first and thought it was little kid stuff so i didnt mind, anyways my bro was hyped about it n he bough himself an ak when i saw his gun i was like I'm a potty mouth! i want one of those the day of his birthday came everyone played airsoft at a big field in okeechobee i borrowed my cousins spring pistols i had fun like crazy i bought my first twon guns which to my misfortune were spring and back then i didnt know what that was Sad

later on i got an l96 and i got hooked i played in miyagis field after i met miguel then silo then ho chi ming trails then CQB building when ebola first started getting people into going there and he was the one who gave all of us the website for the forum and i have also played at pb and fox hole.

awesome man. you've been playing for a long time it seems. i too started just messing around in my big backyard with spring pistols and shotguns haha.
one day got a plastic gearbox thompson and a friend got a CYMA AK that just wrecked us all lmao.

eventually i got a g36c and found matrix (through google) when we all got a little more serious.
i met sanddragon there and he told us to log onto the forum!
now i'm slowly becoming a self taught tech! lovin' it!

i was really into paintball and i wanted to start playing so i was looking around for fields to play at then i saw how expensive rentals were so i wanted to see if i could just get a paintball gun for my birthday. i was looking at some when an airsoft gun popped up so i did some research and realized it was cheaper than paintball and more realistic so i got a spring m14 sniper and looked for fields on Google and found matrix so i went for my birthday and saw everyone using AEG rifles and stuff so i went home and my dad ordered me an m4 and then i started playing regularly. Very Happy

I remember the day so clearly, I used to be a big paintballer back then. But the sport had come and left me, I was looking for something new to pass the time, and we were sitting in our lunch room in I think it was 7th grade...

Anyway, he talked to me about it and I got really interested. That weekend, he took me out to Foxhole, and let me borrow this UTG M4 he has. At the end of the day, all I could say was WOW! This was so much better than paintball.

This year I'm going into my ninth year, and still going strong! cheers

I like this thread! I used to play paintball and one day Nobody told me about Airsoft. I tried it one time and as they say the rest is history!

i joined the forum when it first started back when the barracks were still up. invited by NOBODY and Ebola

i started with paintball, then sikes showed me some lpeg rifles and spring guns and i fell in love with the realism of the guns compared to paintball. i started at silo, then went to: tank, miyagis, the barracks, ho chi minh etc. 666 bow before satan. i think the top 3 venues were silo, ho chi minh and miyagis. but nothing tops silo. thats when we played good milsim games and teams were made for milsim and not as a shitty excuse to look important. there were only two main teams, DAWG and FOXHOUND and a bunch of stragglers including me. then came SWORD, HRO, and Perfect Soldiers. good times. TOSS MA SALAAD!!!!!

silo was shut down, ho chi minh was mowed down, tank got an owner change, the barracks got knocked down,
