| Major Fatalities!....Airsoft Medical Staff Photo Archives: Did you Suffer from a Major Airsoft game Incident? Maybe this is the proper spot to tell how that bb rain storm caught you off guard!....If you got some nasty photos , do show and tell!....Got shot in the mouth, Ouch! I got lite up preety bad in a CQD building but finally my wounds healed about a year and a half later! Recently of July 29th 2012 I was in a game getting shot up by this one kid who would not stop firing even after I was shouting I was out!... I got a BB in the mouth whitch chipped a front tooth... Dentistry bills will probablly be a filling costing 100 bucks! The BB smashed into my inner tooth section so its behing the tooth ...this guy hit me from a distance of over 80 feet with a gun firing at 370 FPS. Just calling out (HIT) is risky! Looks like I will have to wear a face mask since there is no trigger control! Idealy it may be interesting to see how bad an airsofter has ever gotten it but , remember , this is a contact sport so you may want to armor up and never , ever remove your safety goggles in the battlefield or you may be blinded by science! Got lite up while Banzai Charging at HoChi Minh Trail by a bunch of campers. Some wounds may heal....some may never!...post the photo shot. There are some photos I took of one Luck Bastard who almost got his eye shot out for not wearing protective glasses and another guy I was fighting stuck his head out in a fight with me and he also took his eyeglasses off, Luckly I studied my target and did not fire....If you see any player without proper protective eye glasses, then the game is suspended and you call out what you hear and that is BLIND MAN WALKING! I recommend all field and venues, run a drill during some games or it will be very n00bish and stupid shit will happen! | |

| No Hard feelings dude but this post may tell all a lesson that could be learned and a reminder that Airsoft bb guns can easily break stuff as fragile and irreplaceable as our eyes! To all- this is the worst kind of close call battle wound in an airsoft game! ... remember that EYE PROTECTION IS REQUIRED! don't forget to check to see that they are not just on your head but over your very eyes! PLEASE PEOPLE< LETS NOT LEARN THE HARD WAY! | |

You cant control 100% where the bbs are going to hit. These are not real guns.one small gust of wind and ur bbs go flying 50 feet from the target. Unless you are really close i doubt anyone can take decisive shots like that. Ive gotten shot in the face before, right on the cheek. Its not as bad as some people think.after a week the welt goes away. Ive gotten shot on my bottom lip.It busted my lip i felt like daffy duck. But i cant complain cuz i dont wear face proection. Now if you are pulling off ur eye protection on the field or playing airsoft with some cheap ass $3 shooting glasses, then that player obviouslly has no respect for the sport and a bb to the face will definatlly make them think twice.

True, but I'm talking more about gun control. I'm sure everyone knows about SPEAR and getting his ear shot out. The guy behind him stood up and lit his ear up, on "accident" trying to get the guys way off in the boonies People should be conscious of gun control, without it there's no real point in trying to prevent anti airsoft laws.

| Half of where you get shot is based on what you expose. I shot three dudes in the trenches, but the only shot I could get was in the head (since that is how the trenches are designed). Did i feel bad in some way, yes. I shot on semi and tried to aim for any area of the head that was covered (one of the guys had a helmet, another a hat). but things do happen. It depends on positioning half the time, if only your foot is showing and in the line of fire, then thats probably where you are gonna get hit. Does it suck, yeah sure. But you fully signed up and purchased a gun willingly, you know what you are getting into. As for weapons flaring, its a big problem, and half the time I look behind me before running towards cover thats near a firing lane. I'm pretty vocal and let the group know what i am doing, as to minimize teamkilling and such. but like I said, shit happens. | |

True, they do sign up for it. I've seen what happens with only goggles, so I bought a lower face mask. I did sign up for it, but I didn't dump out all my life savings to get my perfect teeth shot out.

I did sign up for it, but I didn't dump out all my life savings to get my perfect teeth shot out. Well The situation was I got shot up in a more non CQB situation in the woods and some guy shot me like more than 80 feet away was going full auto on me, forcing me to shout it out...HIT! basically getting lite up like that and with all the screaming only resulted in the damage to the front tooth. I may have to recommend full face mask protection or only opt for games that only do semi auto action....thus limiting the stupidity....I have thus skipped airsoft games recentlly and have been wearing face mask protection. I remember playing in the old abandoned barraks building near Fox hole and got lite up by a player in one room....maybe its all fun and games but not cool getting lite up in Ho Chi Minh Trail by a bunch of Campers going full auto on the first person beelineing the advancing group... My advise is semi or short controlled bursts. also my hit happened so close I could not deploy a death rag on time as this may need addressing in a pre game assembly... try not to be too agressive about suppressing players...especially if you already hit them, now you are not only wasting ammo but you endanger the player to unnecessary injury. The field is becoming Way too CQB in its format so it will make up with its small size by the new constructions and even make pistol games semm more sensible than rifles. pistols are in fact cheaper and more realistic to the sport...we should promote them in the games....and of course full face protection may soon become manditory in games where there are no bang outs!

sounds good. any chance of matrix eventually expanding into something a lot bigger? maybe not foxhole size, but to me matrix is way to tiny with so many players

sounds good. any chance of matrix eventually expanding into something a lot bigger? maybe not foxhole size, but to me matrix is way to tiny with so many players The problem lies in the point of interest in that field, there are 3 strategic locations built with one suddenly big US base, a tactical German Center base anda Commando Japanese jungle base....aparentlly, everyone wants to hang out and shoot up the biggest base in attack and defend.. pipe bunkers? pipe bunkers has been assimulated as no mans land battle zones...of course all this will suddenly change if I can get even more pallets on site for further construction of structures....possiblly even movable ones... anyone remember the hours I spent tending to a base made up entirely of old tires? Everytime I moved it around and restacked it....the base became an interesting location to try and hold up in or attack! I think I will go tear down the current tire stack and put them all in the German base rear defences! Also gotta buy more rope and re worke pipe bunker and hang even more pipes!
