| The day was definitely one of the better days at battle Town. A very high turnout (roughly 40-45 people actively playing). Numbers got so high we needed to use the entire field for one of the last games of the day. No real honor problems till late in the day, but even then we dealt with it. Many teams attended, including members of SWORD, TSO, a newer team PREDATORS, and others. Many of the games saw good, cohesive teamwork from both sides, the only problems really arose from the OpFor's lack of initiative in attacking in some games (in the attack and defend game I sat in the pickup truck's cab and took sporadic fire but it was from so far away that it barely rated a notice, most of the game went like that. What could have been large firefights devolved into a plinking match). The earlier games were short, with one team sweeping and clearing separate sides of the field while the other side got bogged down and mercilessly slaughtered. Overall the day was good. EDIT: There were videos of that day's games, mostly from the OpFor's side. Footage courtesy of TSO. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VgSxWFgM5cYhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W8y7sgh6WKc | |
