2/14/10 Debriefing

Great as always! All scenarios were fun and I am sure we all enjoyed them and more and more new faces are coming out to our field. Both open field scenarios played to the right of the building were new and now it has given us the experience to play not only the usual open field but now the side open field which I liked a little better giving both teams more places to hide making it harder to hit anyone. Now the CQB scenarios were played in Semi/Auto and it all turned out great. I did not see anyone having to shoot full auto and to my opinion it made it a little more realistic and challenging. I would like to thank the mother of one of our players for being our hostage Also for those who were not there early this morning SeaBee was followed in by a Metro Dade police car. He was approached by the officer while calling in backup. SeaBee was smart to put his airsoft gun away trying not to scare the officer and told him it was an airsoft gun, the officer then canceled the backup call. After speaking with the officer he was nice about the situation and said it was okay and was just curious as to why someone would be driving into there. Let me please point out that when you are getting close to the field, drive slowly and always try to keep the airsoft guns away from being viewed from the street. They know we are there now and lets try not to give them any trouble. Obey the traffic speed and keep your guns away from public view. Let's not cause them any trouble or reason not to allow us there..I would like to wish all a nice and safe following week. I will not be present this coming weekend, I will be visiting my daughter in Orlando. I will be asking Mydinkyx to please get video footage and pictures for the following weekend.

Jester after I spoke with the officer he cancelled the backup. Again, when law enforcement people take a quick glance at our weapons they really think they are real thats why we must be very careful if ever stopped or approched by a police officer. Remember to inform him that it is indeed a airsoft gun and let that officer give you instructions on which you should follow very closely. I gave him my pistol on my leg holster to examine; after which he examined a couple of other gun and then called the backup off. We did invite the police officer to play with us but be decilned politely.lol. I also informed him that from here on out we would be playing airsoft on the weekends and he did say that he would let the other police officers know. So to answer your question Jester I don't think that we have to worry much about getting kicked out as long as we do what Nobody mentioned above. But if a police officer does show up again be nice polite and stay cool dont do anything retarded that can get you shot or get us kicked out. I will be present next weekend as usual as for Saturday I don't know Sundays is a go if God permits. See you all soon and have a great week.
